question about someone selling a scarf
http://community.livejournal.com/doctorwho/3419172.html?mode=reply

In this post someone advertises that their SO will knit DW scarfs for $120. Is this sort of thing kosher? I have no clue, don't need a Fourth Doctor scarf or anything like that, but if this is brought to the notice of the BBC, won't TPTB get upset?

In lieu of recent events, I don't know what if, anything, the mods of that comm will say or do, even if emailed about it.

(The one DW scarf I have, I found the pattern in a paper 'zine, I bought the yarn, and my friend knitted for me, and no money changed hands. I did some things in return for her.)

At any rate, after the debacle over the patterns recently, am I right to be concerned for the fandom?

So I know there's been talk of how hard it is to find brown and blue pinstripe fabric and that some people were looking for it. I just ordered some more from my local fabric store and it was easy enough that if anyone wants some I would be willing to order it for them. The only catch is that the transaction would prolly have to be through etsy. If anyone is interested I can post some pics of the fabric and when they tell me the yardage I can tell them how much it'll cost. I wont charge any more than the cost of the fabric and the shipping costs.
