    Quick Update

I’m back in Guelph and the critter factory is in full swing agian.  My digital camera came out of my luggage occupied by an evil spirit and acting completely autonomous of its programming.  So until I get my hands on a fixed/new camera there will be a delay before the next set of critters can come online.  Soon! I promise :) !

Yes, I was up in Brooklyn this past weekend visiting my bestest friends! We made cupcakes, made sure I will never again put vodka in a watermelon, and saw some chick in the park who looked like one of the old dudes from "The Dark Crystal". Yes, one of these guys.

    Weird.

Oddly, the salesman we bought it from was also one of the delivery guys. I find this strange because we bought it from Slumberland which is a pretty sizable furniture chain, the kind that usually has extra staff for delivery, etc.

Also, the website expressly said that the pillows were not included. I hadn't planned on them, and I'll probably get different pillows later, but OK, I like them.

No, this isn't great imaginative design stuff. That comes later. Right now this is stuff that supports our lifestyle, is comfortable and yes, happens to be something I visually like. We will have throws and pillows and paintings soon enough.

I am REALLY hoping to get my hands on one of these next:

    List of stuff!
I don't feel like typing in paragraphs of randomness/new things. xD So! Here's a list.

    Etsy issue resolved.

Club Sandwich and Oreo Sunday at Denny's is AMAZING.

I'm going to try to make milkshake charms.

Starting today I try to eat better!

    Finally got my oil changed.

Sometimes I go into stores just looking for things to buy, knowing I shouldn't.

A1 Garlic Surpreme steaksauce is so GOOD for marinating.

I don't know shit on shit about buying steaks, only the pricing is what I look at.

My roots are coming in, and it makes me sad to know I'll have to touch them up. ~_~

I hate when people act different around their boy/girlfriend.

    I really want a tattoo.

Havarian cheese is my new favorite.

And.. I need to go to school. Argh.

    That's all.

Bad Luck Week + Rebel Girl pictures!
Whew, things are finally starting to settle down after the craziest bad luck week!! It started with The Bladder Infection From Hell, which felt like daggers shooting out of my vag every time I tried to pee. Without going into too much detail, let's just say I spent a lot of time crying on the toilet or curled up in bed in a feverish sweat! I missed three birthday parties and a fashion show and only got to see Nessa--who was visiting from Portland--for an hour!! :-(

    I recovered pretty quickly after my doctor put me on antibiotics. Things were starting to look good. I got to hang out with Nicole, who was visiting from Utah. We had yummy Thai food with Drew. Then I CRASHED MY CAR ON THE WAY HOME!! Got sandwiched in the middle of a 4-car collision on the freeway. Luckily no one was hurt, just wrecked my car kinda bad. :-}

So I parked my car under a tree on my street. Yesterday I took my car to the repair shop for an estimate. When I returned home, you are not going to believe this--THE TREE HAD FALLEN IN THE EXACT SPOT WHERE MY CAR HAD BEEN PARKED! If I had not moved my car exactly when I did, there would be a tree on top of it. Would look great with the already smashed bumpers and broken tail lights! I guess I am not so unlucky after all. I am taking this as a sign that things are going to be better!!

    Ummmm... for real though??

And finally, pics from our girls night out at Rebel Girl last May!

    I GOT A TATTOO!!!
So I just got my first tattoo and I am so freaking happy!

I had a fantastic first experience and I am absolutely planning to go back for more, Im already planning on adding to this one and possibly turning it into a half sleeve of horse related stuff!

I was so scared but he said he was going to do a test line to let me get used to the feel and I didnt even notice it!

    I GOT A TATTOO!!

It looks really wonky in the pic but its a little hard to take a photo of your own arm!

I wanted the whole thing to be very simplistic and wanted the heart element especially subtle.
I cant wait to go back in for touch ups and to add to it!

Chapter 6: Creating a Sense of Abundance: Old Clothes
    The Moon.Image via Wikipedia

It’s the deep end of the waning moon coming out of a rather virulent Mars direct.1 It really is a good time to cleanse - get rid of what needs getting rid of to make space for the great things about to come into my life, although cleansing feels a little weird as I’ve only been in this space a month.

So, after a self-esteem battering session in my closet yesterday I was relatively happy to yank out five clothing items as instructed and move them on. Between oil stains, mystery stains and a disconcerting tendency to ride up flashing body parts no one but Mike really needs or wants to see on someone my age and size, I was only too happy to dispose of them.

    old-clothes2.jpg by you.

I have two social commitments this weekend, too, and in the process of finding things to dispose of I recognized some outfit possibilities I had not previously considered - so it turned out to have its own reward!
