| The Moving Collection |
[06 Jun 2008|02:54am] |
An experiment with tokens, love, personal experiences and recollections.
The Moving Collection features tokens to be exchanged for actions and recollections; a little bit of ourselves to be passed on in a sharing gesture.
Remembrances, affection and emotional mementos make us who we are, and so the Collection is meant to move from person to person, facilitating the exchange of what should be dearest to us. The brooches are printed in lightweight acrylic, and have silver plated clasps.
Available in the shop now!

Over the weekend I bought some Fimo so I thought it'd be fun to try it out, now bear in mind this was my first time experimenting with the clay, so be gentle and nice to me please? :]
Oh yeah and ignore the tacky borders and stuff, I was just playing around in photoshop. =[

Hi there.
I've recently just got into making jewellery. I used to be quite crafty in college and school, but I left college in November because I simply hated it.
I've just got a few photos to post so I can gain some feedback from you all and maybe you could suggest some ideas of what I can develop etc.

| Painting with resin? |
[20 Mar 2008|04:21pm] |
I hope someone can advise me on this subject. I've an item of dried organic matter that I need to completely coat in resin but not embed it like a paper weight. I wont elaborate on what it is (trust me here) but I need to find a way of getting the resin onto it probably in multiple layers so that it is completely encapsulated. Is it possible to paint it on? If so, is there a specific type of brush I should be looking to use for this? Or maybe it's just a case of submerging the item in the resin for a minute or two then taking it out to hand up, drip, dry and then repeat again?
How would you go about it? Thanks in advance x
