update on baby gifts + a question
Just wanted to let you guys know what I decided to do for my crafty baby gifts. I went to Jo Anne's as they just opened a whole HUGE superstore by me that I have never been to. Turns out it is waaaay different than the one i visited growing up as they sell sooo much more than fabric. I ended up seeing these really cute stool/toy holders so I bought one and plan to paint and stencil it with the baby's name and some sports balls on it as thats the theme of his room. I'll have to post some pictures once I'm done. They also had some cute rocking chairs, hanging racks and little shelves that would also be fun to decorate!

I do have one question. I wanted to attach a padding to the top of it as it is a seat. What's the best way to do this? I want it to be permanent.

Thanks!

Mmmh... maybe you could make a padded cushion the size you need and then attach it with loads of velcro. Being a baby's stool, it is always best if it's possible to detache fabric bits and wash them: you never know what might end up on them... :D!

Good luck!
