| About: | Hey! You! You wanna do some crafts but you don't know what to make? Despair no longer for you have found the Craft of the Month Club. Yay! The first day of every month a new craft will be assigned. Should you think to yourself, "Self, that sounds like a neat craft to try," then you now have a direction in which to craft. There are also seasonal crafts which span the four quarters of the year. These projects are generally more time consuming than the regular monthly assignments. How are the craft ideas chosen? The community founder has a list of crafts she would like to do or learn how to do and chooses the monthly projects from that list. However, suggestions are welcome. Please email ideas to craftclub@hotmail.com. A list of the crafts already chosen can be found on CraftClub's To Do List. WARNING: If you want to be surprised each month, do not look at the To Do List! This community was created to encourage the enjoyment of crafting by giving people an idea of something specific to make. The sharing of instructions for projects, being able to ask questions about projects, getting help doing projects, and showing off finished works of craft is what this place is all about. The inspiration for CraftClub came from fadedjade's post on ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} craftgrrl. It was a really cool idea and the response was amazing! To take the idea a little further it was given a community of its own.This is a members-only journal. That means only people who join the CraftClub community can post entries. So what are you waiting for? Get crafting, baby! If you're saying to yourself, "Self, I shouldn't join because I don't have a camera or scanner," well, that's just silly. Why not join simply for the camaraderie of doing crafts along with other crafters? It'll be fun! P.S. It's nice when posters put multiple pictures and long how-tos behind LJ Cuts. If you're not sure how to do it then please read the FAQ. NOTICES: Some photogpraphs and how-tos posted in this community will have the honor of being displayed on the CraftClub website strictly for the purposes of featuring and archiving projects. Any photos used, if not already marked, will be marked with a copyright notice giving each member his or her own unique notice. The website also claims copyrights for all members whose material is used on the website. Selected photos may be edited for space-saving purposes (this includes actions such as resizing and cropping). Members' photos used on the website will be stored in the website's space so as not to require anyone to keep their photos online for longer than they'd like. This community reserves the right to delete posts deemed unappropriate. The types of posts most likely to be deleted are those of a hateful nature or of a selling nature. This community reserves the right to ban members if they should continually post entries of unappropriate natures.
