Final emo post about wedding, I swear
In about one hour and thirty minutes, the wedding will start, and my sister will no longer be a Martinez, but and Artischophsky (yeah.....still don't know how to spell it). I think I'm ready. We've been preparing since they got engaged pretty close to a year ago, but I don't know if emotionally, I've been ready. But now, I know.
Ana. You have been a really great sister to me and I love you dearly. You may be moving to Austin, but you are not too far away from me.
Greg. You are one great man and I trust my sister to you. I know you'll do everthing to make her happy, even though a lot of what you say makes people facepalm (in a loving way of course).
I wish you both happiness, luck, and prosperity cause in one year I'll be mooching of y'all while I'm at college in Austin :D

I... am so flabbergasted. I knew this was going to happen. I just knew it. So yeah, my hours for tonight got cut. Which fucking pisses me off since now I'm going to have only 3 hours on the clock this week (unless by some miracle someone calls out during one of my call in shifts). Bullshit. Seriously, what the fuck? She did this on fucking purpose. Tonight was supposed to be a floorset. She's been work5ng on the floorset all week to get it done ahead of schedule, which is against store policy to do while the st6re is open.
I... really was hoping to avoid taking this to the district manager, but she's given me NO choice. I've put off calling, hoping she would get her shit together and do what's fair. But she doesn't. Also, she got a sales associate to call me up and tell me this rather than do it herself.
Every shift I've had at that store ends up stressing me out or pissing me off, and I'm tired of it. I can find better elsewhere. If she wants to play hard ball, I can do that. I am not a rug to be walked all over.

PS: Still no HAND soap in the bathroom. No, a little bottle of bodywash doesn't count because it doesn't SANITIZE.
PPS: I told you the difference between a T size and a regular size. Stop ignoring me when I'm trying to help the customer by acting like I'm wrong. Seriously, it's good to admit you are still learning things too, but I KNEW THE F'ING ANSWER! The only difference is the T is cut a little wider to make room for a diaper.
PPPS: Why does the economy suck so bad right now. I sooo need a new job. This one definitely isn't worth stressing over. :(

You know what sucks? Spending the past week tearing your hair out over planning a little band gathering so people can go see some DCI bands (for non-band geeks, DCI is like professional marching band, but they only allow brass, percussion, and colorguard, meaning no woodwinds T_T) on Thursday. It is a really fun thing to go see, all those amazing players and bands and watching them march on a field. But when the people who were being counted on to provide the transportation decide not to go, in favor of going to another DCI event on Saturday, you end up canceling what would have been a really great experience.
I'm about ready to go kick some people in the ass.
....i really don't feel like making a new post for this, so here

SO, of course Sheema didn't need me to come in for my call in. I asked if the new schedule was approved yet. Mind, the new schedule starts sunday. She said, "Well... it's not approved yet, but I have it written up. I suppose I could give it to you."
Uh, yeah, that might be smart seeing as it starts SUNDAY. Nice of you to deign to give me that schedule. I told her to forget it, I'd come in and pick it up myself. Though now I'm not sure if I should wait to call my DM until after it does get approved before complaining about it.
Geh. I want out. I'm going to apply to the library. They are running a LEAP mentoring sort of program and will pay $17 an hour, 15 hours a week. I'm not sure I qualify, but do have my degree and am going to apply anyway. :P
Anyways, I'm glad I don't have to work. I'm going to go out and see Hancock. Will Smith makes everything better. Except I Am Legend

So I'm working on, er, a LOT of cosplays right now...but most of them are pretty easy, so.
SANAE HANEKOMA - Have the vest, slacks, sunglasses, everything...just need to style my black wig. And I'll bring a coffee mug with me, cause I loooove props. It makes poses more interesting. (Con - KumoriCon 08)
KYON - Probably the one I'm worrying about right now, as I can't find the blazer anywhere but overly-expensive on e-bay which comes with a tie, and I already have the tie...and I've decided to use my Wilson wig for the hair, because I don't want to buy another brown (but darker) wig. (Con - KumoriCon 08)
KLAVIER GAVIN - I have the blazer, shirt, pants, wig (but I need to style the wig, I began but haven't finished)...just need to get some chains from Home Depot or something for the necklace and belt (as the links are really big, so I don't think there'll be an actual necklace that looks like that). (Cons - San Diego ComiCon 08, KumoriCon 08)
DR. JAMES WILSON - I have the doctor's coat, wig, tie, shirt, pants...everything's done but the nametag. (Con - San Diego ComiCon 08)
KOKI KARIYA - Have the wig I need to style, yellow-lensed sunglasses, and I have a sweatshirt I need to paint and make smaller, as well as take the sleeves off...need to make the wings, paint the zipper (oh the wonders of golden zippers, makes me think of my Axel cosplay), and make that weird...erm...belt thing. I am so frustrated and upset right now. I swear the new manager at the store I was just hired into has it out for me. I make the smallest mistake and she makes a big deal about it. Oh, but she won't do it privately face to face. No. She does it in front of people. Or has the assistant manager tell me, even though I came in earlier that morning and saw her to drop of my schedule.
I saw my schedule for next week and she cut my hours again This past week she cut it to 9. Which was annoying, but I could look past because the store has been slow lately. Next week she is trying to give me ONE FUCKING SHIFT! 3 hours. Not even a decent timeslot. I am seriously filled with RAGE.
If this gets approved by the higher management then I am going to take it up with the district managers (who, you know, hired me to begin with). This is such fucking bullshit. Last night in only 3 hours I made half the money for the day. Which is completely pathetic when they made only 300 dollars in 10 hours. I've been keeping track of the productivity and I make the fucking sales. I sell better than a lot of the other people. No I'm not tooting my own horn as the productivity report proves it. So they cut off one of their best sales people? WTF? Even if Sheema really did dislike me (though I'm not sure why, since she's barely even worked me and we haven't had more than one shift together) she shouldn't take shit out on my work time.
I almost can't wait to get next weeks schedule so that I can report her ass. I've done my part in getting this store off the ground. Hell I even brought in bathroom supplies out of my own pocket, because she hasn't replaced the soap in the bathroom. I find that to be completely disgusting and am going to report that as well.
I'll be damned if I take this lying down.
