Hi all,
This (unwieldy, terribly long) piece is two things. The first is a challenge to myself--it's actually rooted in the day it occurred to me that I have really run the gamut of Sherlock-Holmes-is-a-shitty-boyfriend tales. I mean, that's purest golden fodder for all of us angst-heads, honestly, but my versions were looking really repetitive to me. Holmes hides his feelings? Check. Tells absurd lies? Check. Makes abusive remarks? Check. Makes Watson miserable? Check. And I wondered, what if Sherlock Holmes wasn't a shitty boyfriend? What if he was a great boyfriend, the poster boy for all future boyfriends? What if he did helpful chores and opened cab doors and gave backrubs and defended Watson's honor? And then I make myself a little ill at the thought of all that niceness. Was it even possible to write Holmes as a fantastic boyfriend without drowning in saccharine, I pondered, and if so, where would the dark come from? Holmes will always be Holmes, after all, or it doesn't work. This is my very long-winded answer to that question. I hope it works on some levels.
The second thing is that it's a shameless litany of smut. So if you don't like graphic male/male sex, I'd skip this one. Warnings for sex, violence (not at the same time), drugs, more drugs, rock and roll (the violin counts, right?), offscreen implied abuse, "self-abuse" as they called it, Watson wanting a tallow candle in the worst way, my hopelessly recurring Sherlock-Holmes-was-the-world's-most-ram

Spoilers: Oh my no. This is completely fresh.
Warnings: Nay
Word Count: 2,138
Author's Notes: I've been inspired by janeturenne and others whose recent drabblings seem like the perfect shot of adrenalin for a slow dull day. So I pulled this first-time attempt at slashfic off my shelf and dusted it off. Really, it's just a silly bit of sexy fun. Totally unrelated to anything else I've written. Knock yourselves out.

Maybe you've already seen it, but I'm resurfacing from lurkerdom to show you this video I just found on youtube: it's a new take on an old meme that has to do with the upcoming Guy Ritchie movie.
For the uninitiated (as I was until just now), the clip is from a WWII movie where Hitler receives some bad news and flies into a rage. Since it's in German, it has been re-subbed time and time again, resulting in endless hilarity: Hitler has recently found out about Michael Jackson's death, the losses of a few of his favorite sports teams, and now that he has seen the SH 2009 trailer he even less pleased!

Summary: The 22nd century had more changes than Holmes realized, including allowing men to marry each other. Holmes’ memories stray to the past and his relationship with Watson.
Author’s Note: Here’s a bit of strangeness that was poking around in my head. The premise for this fic had oddly been in my head even before I had seen the show “Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century” (thanks again to
I don’t think it’s necessary to have seen “Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century” to read this fic. For a bit of background, Holmes was resurrected in the 22nd century to help battle a clone of Professor Moriarty. Holmes' main companions are Inspector Beth Lestrade of New Scotland Yard (yes, from that Lestrade family) and a robot named Watson.
