REMINDER: Follow the rules!  
I noticed we have some members who have not friended the comm, or do not have promo buttons somewhere on their journal.

We will be doing a button check this week, and anyone who DOES NOT have a button will be given 24 hours to put one up. If one is not put up within 24 hours, you will be cut.

Also, if you are just watching the comm, you have until THURSDAY MORNING AT 12:00 AM ET to join. I will ban you if you haven't requested to join by then.

THESE RULES ARE NOT HARD TO FOLLOW! I DON'T WANT TO BE A B*TCH, BUT I DON'T THINK I HAVE TO GIVE WEEKLY REMINDERS TO FOLLOW THE RULES!!!

yes, either a promo button OR a text link.


it's stated in the rules when you first join.

Well this is disappointing. I like my userinfo nice an plain, the way it is.
Plus I don't think anyone should be forced to add things to their jouranls just for membership.
I'm going to have to think about how much I like this community...

It's not 'just for membership.' it's more of promotion. Like if someone likes your graphics, they can click the button or link and join for themselves.

It DOESN'T have to be on the profile, but that's the easiest for most users. Some members have a certain post for promotions. Maybe that's an option for you, perhaps?

I just requested to join this community, but after reading this, I rather not. You state that the makers have lives outside of this community, and I imagine the members do as well. Therefore, I have better things to do.

That is fine... Yes, you're probably right about the members also having lives, but my makers shouldn't have to chase members for 3 weeks to pick up their requests.
