The theme this week well center around a series of images from a Rosamund Pike photoshoot that I stumbled across on Shootastic. Apparently these images were promotionals for a movie that I wouldn't recommend watching, but these photos are just soooo incredibly beautiful, that I can't resist sharing them. :-)

We've only got one person to enter in our latest challenge, Chinese Olympic Opening Ceremony. Let's get some more entries before Wednesday!

Though filled with propaganda and a few tricks, no one can argue that the Chinese Olympic Opening Ceremony was very impressive (and somewhat creepy). I for one haven't enjoyed an opening ceremony so much in my memory. So this week is a special challenge! Challenge 017: Chinese Olympic Opening Ceremony.

What images can be used? Anything that took place during the Opening Ceremony, including the Parade of Nations and the various performances. The only requirements are 1) that there must be people in the icon, and 2) that it must have happened during the ceremony. (Sorry, no super-awesome-Michael-Phelps-swimming icons!) I've included a very large handful of my favorite pictures, and the sources for them so that you can explore some on your own if mine are unsatisfactory.
