| About: |  This community is about positive things, so if you don't have anything nice to say, your post or response will be immediately deleted. If it happens a 2nd time you will be banned from the community.This community's focus is a celebration of why we like certain costumes and cosplayers. It is not a rating community. It's just a place to post pictures of cosplayers and state the reason why you like them despite weight, race, gender or gender roles. If you're a freaking martian with 10 toes (on each foot), as long as the costume is nicely done, artistically done, or has some effort put into the pictures taken, it's all good. All costumes, costumers, and anything costuming related are welcome here. Posting Rules Please no hotlinking pictures. If I find out the picture is hotlinked from someone's sight,I will immeadiatly delete your post. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. I don't like bandwith thieves. Do not take pictures from websites that specifically ask for people not to take their images. If I find out this is the case, the post will be deleted and the initial thread poster will be warned. A second violation of this rule will result in being banned from the community. Please no profanity, lewd attitudes or vulgar comments. Drama is not welcome here!! PERIOD!!!! If you have a difference of opinion, ok, that is allowed. But general insults will not be tolerated. If I find any drama has started in this community I will investigate, and possibly delete the thread. If you are a continual Drama Queen, I will ban you from the community with no explanation. Why?? 'Cause I can. On Giving Critiques of costumes I'd rather people not give open critiques on cosplay or costuming pictures posted here, unless someone posts their own costume to be critiqued. I dont like the idea of critiquing costumes of other people and they did not give exclusive permission to do so. That would in a way would defeat the purpose of cosplay_hotness. Its purpose is to be a do-goodie happy happy community, and while critiquing can be good, some people can be nasty and down right rude. I don't even want to try and go there. I don't mind skimpy costumes, but please put those pictures behind a cut and in the post let people know its risque. No nudity whatsoever!!! Please no spam. This is an on topic community. Do not advertise your personal site that is not related to Cosplay or Costuming. If you post a an advertisement without our exclusive permission IT WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATLY with no explanation.Please when you post your advertisement , post it under a cut,I do not care how short it is or if it does not include an image. Advertisements that are cosplay related are allowed but this will not become a community for that purpose. I'll post more rules on the community info page over the weekend. I will also advertise the community to the main lj and costuming related communities.
