| About: | Welcome to the Corvid Portfolio's Community Journal! What is the Corvid Portfolio? It's the colaborative effort of a small group of artists creating artwork of a common theme. In this case, it's the Corvidae family. Ravens, crows, jays and the like. :) With the wide array of different birds in this family, combined with the different style of the artists - we hope to bring you interesing and unique collection of art. Guidelines: - A True Corvid must be the focus of the artwork. A list of Corvids for inspiration. - Preferably (but not strictly) anthropomorphic since these will be sold at ANTHRO Con. =^^= - More than one bird can be used in a single image. - Nothing above a PG-13 rating. Safe for kids. :) - Be creative and explore different cultures to relate to the birds. - Both B&W and Color pieces will be accepted. But color is prefferable for colorful birds, like a Green Jay. - Most importantly, HAVE FUN! :) Official Release Date: July 7th ~ AnthroCon 2005 Feel free to post sketches, as questions or just watch the folio develop. :) Note from the Organizers - In order to keep this small and organized, the portofolio was arranged as invite-only.
