| About: | Do corsets take your breath away in more ways than one? Do you think bloomers were sexier than thongs will ever be? Do the men of your fantasies wear frock coats and carry canes?

Welcome to Corsets and Canes, a community for those with a thing for historical clothing. If you have a fetish for historical clothing of any kind (corset-wise, we're not referring to the modern, cyber-effect PVC type varieties), then this is the place to drool over your passions; from top hats to tightlacing, bustles to breeches.

♥ Although history is a difficult thing to define - time being the ever-moving thing it is - for this community's purposes, we'll use the common cut-off point of a minimum of fifty years prior to the present time.
♥ For the sake of members' friends pages, please place any lengthy texts or large pictures behind a cut. Same goes for any images with nudity, to protect those surfing at work from awkward conversations.
