In Search Of A Corset

     I'm currently looking for a fairly low-priced corset for my first corset.

     I'd like to keep it under $120 (including shipping) and I would adore a pointed Victorian underbust (both top and bottom points), though I am open to suggestions and I am open to other shapes as well. If someone here who knows more about corseting than I do thinks another shape would be better for me, then I will definitley take that into consideration, though I definitley want an underbust.
     I do like longer corsets.
     I'd prefer a green, blue, purple, or pastel fabric and I stay away from reds and yellows (that includes pink and orange). Black is an OK color, but I would prefer another color. I'd like a print, if possible, but just something soft and subtle.
     I do plan to waist train, so it needs to be durable enough for that. I, however, don't plan to tightlace.

     I am a beginner in corseting, so any tips are greatly appreciated.

My measurements are as follows:
underbust: 30 inches
waist: 28.5 inches
high hip: 35 inches
lower hip: 37 inches
underbust to waist: 4.5 inches

If you need anything else, just let me know, though I believe I've covered everything.

Plus size help
So here's my situation, I don't know if its fixable or not. I just got invited to X-Sanguin which is on Saturday July 26th.

The corset I used to wear to these kinds of events no longer fits me since having a baby.

SO I need to try to find something (off the rack?) that will fit my now plus size physique. My natural waist is 36.

I'm thinking maybe a cincher might be my best bet?

Unfortunately I don't have a ton of money to spend. Would like to keep this under $100 if possible.

If anyone has anything that would work for me, or can reccommend a good place to order one I'd be forever grateful! Thanks :)

I'm looking for a really nice inexpensive (but stil spectacular) corset for a very strange body. I am 38' bust, 36 underbust, and 40 at the hips and waist...maybe 42 at hips. I've got a very long torso, 20 inches, and was wondering if anyone had anything.

$90 Black Leather Waist Cincher by Dark Garden Corsetry- 22 inches
For sale: a sexy black leather waist cincher by Dark Garden Corsetry. It gives a great waistline.

The original pre-sale price for the corset was about $250 if I recall. I'd like to get $90 for it plus shipping.

I bought it a couple of years ago on sale at Dark Garden Corsetry because it gives a great shape, but I've never worn it to go out because its more of a clubbing/leather/goth look (not my style).

Materials
The outside is a buttery soft black leather and the lining is a complementary black material (feels like cotton.) It has 18 metal bones. It has no front opening busk, and it is and very short, neither going down over the hips nor up above the ribs. Its easy to put on in spite of lacking a busk because it is so short and because the accompanying lace very long. The lacing can be worn in the front or back.

Sizing
My natural waist is 27 and it fits me great. I suspect that it would work well with natural waists of 24 to 29 or more, depending on how squishy you are and how much of a gap you like. Also, since it is so short, it might also work on a guy (I'm not sure on that one though.)

corset waist: 22"
corset bottom: 27.5"

length of corset at lacing: 7.25"
length of corset at sides: 4.75"
length of corset in the center (where busk would be if there was one): 7.25"

Electra Designs underbust corset for sale! 27" waist, very curvy!
Well, now that most people have gotten their tax refunds I thought I would offer this gorgeous dragonfly corset for sale again. I ordered it as a semi-custom from Electra Designs and as it turned out it didn't fit me. It has only been tried on briefly over clean clothes,it is brand new. Time for a sale!
I'm introducing Charlotte cinchers, an economical version of both my Lola and Nixia underbust corsets. These are made without mockup fittings, based on the clients individual measurements as well as my now well established standard drafting. They still will each be custom drafted, but will be made using simpler and still very sturdy construction methods (which have been successfully tested for durability). These corsets will be more than sufficient for 2-4 inch waist reduction, and will be available to those with waist sizes up to 38 inches naturally.

Base models will be available from silks, satins, brocades, and taffetas, as well as cotton calicos and other fun materials. The standard model will have no front closure, but can be upgraded to have a busk, zipper, or lacing grommets. Turnaround time for these corsets is two weeks in this introduction period.

Regular price on these Charlotte cinchers will be $160 when I add them to my website, but I am offering 4 3 slots at an introduction price of $130 (plus $20 shipping in the US). Thats right, you can get a corset custom made by Scoundrelle's Keep for close to half off what my normal underbusts cost. These slots will fill up fast, no doubt.
