| About: |   You must join and friend the community in order to participate in the challenges. First challenge sign-ups are now open Each Monday, I will post a new challenge which will have a theme which your icon should reflect. You will then create an icon, you will be allowed any textures, brushes, text and gradients unless otherwise specified. Every Friday, your icon will be due. You will reply with the picture and URL of the icon as a comment to that week's challenge post. All comments are screened and icons will remain anonymous until voting is over. Every Saturday, we will post that week's icons and voting will start. Voting will be for 3 of your least favourite icons and a favourite for that week. Please do NOT vote for your own icons! That defeats the purpose of this competition. You can, however, vote positively or negatively for any icons except your own. Every Sunday, the winner for that week, the two mod's choices, and the icon makers disqualified will be posted. You must participate in every challenge, or be removed from the competition. Be able to handle possibly negative things about your icons. It's nothing personal, as all entries are anonymous. If you can't take being voted out, then this isn't the community for you. The winner, in addition to awe and applause will recieve acclaim, adoration (I will run out of a-words eventually), and a personalized banner which displays your achievement. Runner-ups will also recieve something, but not quite as cool. Please include "Molly Bloom/ Ideal world" somewhere in your comment when you sign-up so I know you've read the rules. taken and edited from lims The weekly schedule is as follows: Monday: New Challenge goes up! Friday: Finished icon must be submitted Saturday: Icons are posted and voting begins Sunday: Voting ends; winners and icon makers voted out are posted This repeats for a 8 to 10 week cycle (depending on the number of participants) until someone is crowned the Last Icon Maker Standing!
