And that doesnt necessarily mean romantic love either. Being loved in return by your friends and family counts as well, and when they show how much they love you means the world, at least in my opinion.

Talents: I'm good at playing piano, and I have a natural bent for logical deduction. Thanks to this, I'm now earning a bachelor's degree in physics with the intent of becoming an engineer. I love calculus most of all. I revel in making quick decisions and not letting my emotions get in the way, which bothers some people I know but which helps me to keep my goals in sight and not make impulsive moves.

I also can pick up languages quickly and am fluent in Spanish.

My dad's laid back and works hard, my mum works hard too and is a bit controlling, but not more than your average mum. She just wants us to succeed. My sister works harder than me, but (not bragging, here) I'm more intelligent, and my brother's the smartest of us all, but he's a normal little kid that likes football and Star Wars. My extended family is my two grandmas, both of whom are wonderful, inspiring ladies, my two Mafioso-type Italian stepuncles that would kill any man who wronged me, my brilliant but detached aunt and her two nerdy children and husband, my other aunt and uncle, neither of whome went to college (well, my aunt did, at age 40) but have two children that are well on their way to becoming lawyers and another in hotel management, my older, divorced aunt and her two grown children (a bioengineer and a lawyer), and my slightly dead-beat grampa who lives in a trailer behind K-mart and bathes only monthly.

How do you carry yourself? I.E. sum up your personality, your style, etc. I'm a nerd, pure and simple. And I don't do it to be "ironic" or "cool" like so many of the hipsters, it's just who I am. I was raised on Star Wars, I knew LeVar Burton as Geordi La Forge before I'd ever watched Reading Rainbow, my mother and father both taught me anything and everything and I knew the history of the !Kung bushmen before I was 6 (my mum went to school for anthropology). My physics professor freshman year instilled in me an intense love of vintage sci fi from the golden age, and Wil Wheaton is my parenting icon. If I ever have kids, I want to raise them like he's raising Ryan and Nolan :D.

I dress in the first thing I pull out my closet, which is always jeans and either a button-down or a plain T-shirt, and my shoes of choice are black Converse. I wear black rimmed glasses and keep my hair shoulder length, though it used to be down my back. That got hard to take care of, though, and I'm planning on hacking it all off this weekend. I'm rarely if ever seen without my lab notebook, as well.

If you could be any inanimate object, what would it be and why? I would love to be my computer, with access to all that knowledge. Plus, my computer is seriously cool, I pimped it out so much.
Tell me what element you most resemble. Not which one you like the most. Xenon. Stable and non-reactive and just happy with it's own existence. It doesn't need any other electrons to make it happy, and unlike the other Nobel Gases, it's heavier than air so it stays grounded, but it's not heavy enough to be radioactive/bad like Radon.

I will be closing this community soon. Reasons why are quite obvious, haha. I will not delete it, but please do not apply anymore. Both I and Mod 1 are busy and don't have the energy to keep up this comm any longer.

Exactly how it says it. People are always lying to me, especially family members. It's hard to know if they're telling the truth at times. I'm constantly thinking, a little too much. I learn things the way I want it learned, without asking others questions. So technically, everthing I could be learning myself, is just wrong.
