I know I said that I was going to upload some songs more often, but I've just gotten lazy. I'll probably do so, but without writing extensive reviews like I've done in the past. If anyone wants me to review a recent song or album that I have the lyrics of on my site, just let me know either by email or on this entry. Sorry for the long wait. I'll try to add more songs soon.
I'm now using Sendspace (with the exception of the Yuna Ito song) thanks to a suggestion from an anonymous poster. The site seems to be promising, so I hope everyone has an easier time getting the files. ^_^

Namie's latest song is written by michico again (she wrote "Want me, want me"), but I like this song a lot more. I added the remix because it's a bit more upbeat than the original and catchier too. I really like when michico writes songs because they always have some sort of punch in the lyrics and music. Thank God she's releasing an album of her own mid 2006. ^_^

Hawaii-raised Ito Yuna became very famous from her song "Endless Story" from the Nana movie in which she starred in with Nakashima Mika. Aikawa Nanase's music has a light pop rock sound that should appeal to most people. Her Red album has an old school cheesy 80's rock vibe to me and some synthesized sounds in it. This album also has a few slower songs to balance the feel of this album. My favorite song would have to be "BREAK OUT!" because of it's catchy beat. I do wish I had the live version of this song because that's what I first heard of hers and I really liked it a lot. "GLORY DAYS" is also a fun and playful sounding song.
Though this was probably her most popular album, I prefer her 7-SEVEN- album a lot more. I just find this album a bit too outdated for my taste.

Kaela's sophomore album is good, but I still prefer her first one a little more. It still is a solid album with great tracks, so take a listen. I really liked how they put the "You" single and the coupling song back-to-back because the transition from one song to the other has a nice flow to it.

I was recommended Syndicate Girls's debut album by my internet stalker kego and it really is a good album. Nao and Maki really have great harmonies and their songs are really catchy. Despite that, I decided to rate this album a 7 because the songs don't really have that much of a lasting impression to me. At least, not other albums. Basically if you like or are interested in hearing Japanese reggae, give these girls a try.

While I was excited when I heard that Hikaru was going to have a new Japanese album, I was kind of wary at the same time because I didn't like her Deep River album too much and I could not stand "Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro" or her dying voice in that song. Her other singles were a bit promising, but I wasn't about to think to positively until I heard the album. Well, when I did, I was hit by the first track "This is love," which is a really great upbeat song. "BLUE" is my absolute favorite track from this album. While there's a part that may grate on some people's nerves (0:28 in the song), I think it's tolerable because the song is lovely otherwise. "Nichiyou no Asa" is the R&B sounding track of this album and since I love that genre, I have much love for this song as well. "Making Love" is surprisingly upbeat and really cute at one point. I had the impression it would be a slower, sexier song because of the title, but thank goodness Hikaru surprised me with that track. "One Night Magic" feat. Yamada Masashi didn't impress me too much, but I think with a few listens, I'll like it a bit better. I think I'll feel that way about "Kairo" as well. When I first heard that song, I thought it was so slow that it dragged its way to the end. As I listened to the songs one by one, I felt that the songs flowed well and although I initially opposed it, I was actually happy about the inclusion of "COLORS" because it fit in well with the direction of this album. And the nostalgicness (is that a word?) made me appreciate this song more. Hell, I even liked "Dareka..." after listening to this album, so I guess maybe I'm back to being one of her Utarded fans. Damn you, Hikki!

I was recommended Syndicate Girls's debut album by my internet stalker kego and it really is a good album. Nao and Maki really have great harmonies and their songs are really catchy. Despite that, I decided to rate this album a 7 because the songs don't really have that much of a lasting impression to me. At least, not other albums. Basically if you like or are interested in hearing Japanese reggae, give these girls a try.

While I was excited when I heard that Hikaru was going to have a new Japanese album, I was kind of wary at the same time because I didn't like her Deep River album too much and I could not stand "Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro" or her dying voice in that song. Her other singles were a bit promising, but I wasn't about to think to positively until I heard the album. Well, when I did, I was hit by the first track "This is love," which is a really great upbeat song. "BLUE" is my absolute favorite track from this album. While there's a part that may grate on some people's nerves (0:28 in the song), I think it's tolerable because the song is lovely otherwise. "Nichiyou no Asa" is the R&B sounding track of this album and since I love that genre, I have much love for this song as well. "Making Love" is surprisingly upbeat and really cute at one point. I had the impression it would be a slower, sexier song because of the title, but thank goodness Hikaru surprised me with that track. "One Night Magic" feat. Yamada Masashi didn't impress me too much, but I think with a few listens, I'll like it a bit better. I think I'll feel that way about "Kairo" as well. When I first heard that song, I thought it was so slow that it dragged its way to the end. As I listened to the songs one by one, I felt that the songs flowed well and although I initially opposed it, I was actually happy about the inclusion of "COLORS" because it fit in well with the direction of this album. And the nostalgicness (is that a word?) made me appreciate this song more. Hell, I even liked "Dareka..." after listening to this album, so I guess maybe I'm back to being one of her Utarded fans. Damn you, Hikki!

Just want to comment... I'd prefer rapidshare to savefile...
Maybe you could consider to use rapidshare from now on?
And if I'm not mistaken, the "Namie Amuro - CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK (Remix)" file, also has some problem...
Perhaps you could check it, and fix it if possible...

I really hate rapidshare because of its 20mb (I think) limit download and I think that others dislike it too. Maybe I'll try different sources for different downloads.
