alrighty so i don't know if i'm the only person who gets sooooo excited about this but INDY'S EARS CAME UP TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! *dies* he looks like a completely different pup and his ears seem bigger than his brothers and sisters so i'm crazy excited about the jumbo ears! anywho on with the cute! :P

greetings! i'm sure some of you have seen me over on corgilove but i sort of figure there's no such thing as being part of too many corgi communities!!

anyway, my name is katie and my corgi is a red/white male PWC named Indy *points to icon*. i will try to post more pics later but i don't have access to them at work :) they are on my personal journal though if you are so interested :)

He was born on may 25th and will be coming home with me this july 26th. i can't wait!!!!!!!! my breeder sets up a puppy visit day so everyone can meet their pups in person and have some major play/cuddle time. that's going on this saturday so i will post pics from that as well.

I don't have a corgi... yet, but I've wanted one ever since I saw a corgi puppy my neighbor had. It was the cutest little thing ever! Last saturday, we met a couple with a corgi at the park and that just reignited my boyfriend and I's desire for one. Our son loved it too. :P

haven't updated in a while...and here's why:

a few days ago i came downstairs to let the puppies out of their crates (i just had woken up) it was a workday. BOTH of them had diarrhea in their crates. BOTH. so... i just sighed and started to clean. put both dogs outside and began to clean the crates, then the door got opened and zelda ran inside covered in mud and poo and thought it would be a great idea to run around the house putting little muddy poo prints on my carpet. i caught her, tossed her OUTside...proceeded to clean the carpet. Link and Zelda then got taken upstairs and given baths, then as i'm getting ready to take them outside BLAAAAARECCCCH he throws up. projectile style right on the floor. *sigh* cleaned that up, and then called work because i was already late. i told them i'd need to take my dogs to the vet right away. i did.

167$ for meds.... *shakes head*

took them home and they've pretty much been in their crates since. no accidents so far. and link keeps hurting his leg when i let him out to potty. the vet said he may need surgery-

that's 500$ i don't have- what am i going to do? i have no idea.....

so...a while back link hurt his leg somehow. we think it was his playing with zelda and the fact that he took a tumble or two in a field while trying to fetch a tennis ball...he's been favoring his back leg for a few months now and every time he seems to be doing better- he goes and re-injures it >_<

yesterday he was playing with zelda and afterward was limping around pathetically ;__; poor little guy *sob*

zelda on the other hand seems to be doing a little better at least. she hasn't peed in her crate in over three days! *woot!*

Hi guys and gals,  I thought I'd give a bit of an introduction.  Belle is a 5 year old Pembroke, she loves hot dogs, cheese, herding the other dogs, any toy with a squeaker, going for car rides and following me around at the horse barn!  Here is a quick picture!

i love plush squeaky toys. but what is it that makes them so wonderful? is it their soft, fuzzy, squishy outer layer? their even softer and easily torn into shreads insides? is it the joy in ripping into that tiny piece of air filled plastic; hearing that delectable squeal for mercy upon the force of my super powered corgi jaw!? muwhwhahahahahah ....i wonder...OH! she's gonna throw it now!!! oh boy! yes! throw it please!*stubwaggle*

well... chris contacted our vet and once he told the vet link's symptoms and severity they said that it didn't seem indicative of parvo but maybe a stomach virus or parasite because he's had the symptoms off and on for a few weeks and he still has his appetite.... they said the earliest they could get him in for blood work and some tests would be monday morning, but that if he had any more problems between now and then that we could bring him into the emergency office. so ... i guess we'll just keep a super close eye on him, we're on day 2 of no problems and he seemed really spunky today...

i hope he's alright....
