AboutThe Basics
This is a community devoted to Hatake Kakashi from the anime and manga Naruto by Kishimoto Masashi.
The Details
There's not exactly a shortage of Kakashi fansites out there. Fanlistings, shrines, other LJ communities, you name it. So why make another one? Well...the fact is, for all his popularity, Kakashi can be one of the most difficult characters in the series to understand. This proves a bit of a stumbling block for many people who want to play him in a roleplay, or write fanfiction about him, or write fanfiction with him in it at all. So this isn't quite a Kakashi fan community (although most people here will probably be Kakashi fans); it's more of a Figuring Out What's Going Through Kakashi's Head community.
What to Post
* Comments on Kakashi's character.
* Advice on how to write him.
* Fanfiction focusing on him, especially if you think it offers some insight about his character.
* Recommendations of good Kakashi-focused fanfiction.
* Speculation on what <insert Kakashi-related moment in canon> means.
* Studies of his relationship with the people around him.
* Etc.
What Not to Post
* Random squeeing. There are other communities for that.
* Icons. Ditto.
* Fanart, unless it manages to capture his character in a particularly striking way.
* Smut, especially if it's PWP (Plot? What Plot?). This does not mean you can't post fanfiction that includes smut. But while PWP is fun to read, it's probably not going to contribute much to this particular community. Of course, if you find or write smut that does reveal something fascinating about Kakashi's character, feel free to post here.
* Pairing screeds. I don't care how pretty Kakashi looks with Iruka/Asuma/Sasuke/Anko/Sakura. This community is about explaining Kakashi, not justifying someone's pet pairing.
* Promoting other communities.
