| About: | Copa América is a football thingy with teams from not Europe(unless invited). bigger than the Gold Cup but smaller than the World Cup. Copa América was started in the 1916 and is the oldest international football tourniment still being staged. the trophy is currently held by Brazil, who won the competition for the 7th time in 2004. Argentina and Uruguay are tied for most Copa América wins, both with 14 championships.
