i realize as the creator of this community i should probebly be unbiased when posting results but someone else is going to have to make a congratulatory Brazil post if they want it. i'm not going to.

i meant to keep up with the quarter-final and semi-final results but i didn't have the internet until Thursday so i missed both the Brazil-Uruguay and Argentina-Chile games last week. i imagine you guys have been keeping up, though. i also didn't make a post for the last group games, did i.. god, i'm a crap mod, haha. good thing i'm not the maintainer of the 2010 World Cup community.

well, i mean, when you can't even beat Colombia you're the USA this year, you don't really feel like posting results after a while, do you? when you bring a shitinexperienced squad, lose all your group games, then go out to Austria in the U20 World Cup, you kind of just want to give up on football for a while.


ANYPOOP(as my Maria would say) i hope you guys had a good time watching Copa America 2007. i feel like this tournament doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. there were some really great matches and i think most, if not all the teams went in fighting, even if they didn't come out with anything. i'm not sure we'll be invited back in 20... whenever the next one is 'cause 2010 is the World Cup. i'm guessing 2011 then. but all you other guys keep playing and fighting for good places in CONMEBOL, good luck with World Cup qualifiers and good luck to Argentina and Chile in the U20 World cup! hopefully we'll have some more good summers of football(Euro 2008 next year, woo!) in the near future. and maybe Argentina steam rolling the crap out of Brazil one of these days.
