A lot of people seem to have been talking about V for Vendetta, though I've heard some mixed reviews... What did you think? I really enjoyed it, especially because he is impressively articulate and that's rare in killers of his proficiency!
Oh, I've also been trying to think of a good match for him to fight... Who could take him?

I'd like to say that I thought Layer Cake was brilliant. Especially when the Russian assassin guy calls up Daniel Craig to threaten him... (paraphrase warning!)

Finally got around to purchasing a copy of Battle Royale.
Long overdue, but I'm poor and lack the capacity for online shopping.
So, my question to all various and sundry -
Suppose this BR law, formerly only a hell of a storyline, became reality. How would you react if your class was picked? Would you take the suicide route, the batshit-looney kill-everything Kiriyama route, the Shuya-Noriko partnership route, or any of the other characters' choices? Or would you choose an entirely different strategy?
Would you kill your friends?

Hey - anybody seen the new movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith?
We saw it Friday and I have to say it was a lot funnier than I thought it would be - but maybe it's because I've been married awhile and could really really relate to the metaphor running throughout.
Anyway, lots of action, guns, explosives, knives, etc., plus a few chuckles and some pretty steamy romance. See it with a girl you can go home with or you're going to be awfully frustrated.....;-)
It starts out kinda slow but stick with it - it'll be worth it in the end as long as you can suspend all belief of natural law and stick to your principles that all leading actors must remain beautiful throughout the film.
Don't get a ticket on the way home from the theater. The aftereffects of this movie tend to make you drive like you're on the lam ~ ;-D

Having seen Sin City yesterday (it just came out in the UK), I think it qualifies discussion....
Miho kicks ass. Definitely. And would probably would take Go-Go, in my opinion.

Also saw the trailer for Kung-Fu Hustle, looking good. Do you think we can discuss comedic bad-asses here?
