Welcome to the Cooking Nook!
This group has open membership, but please read the following before you decide to join. There are only two rules at present, and I don’t intend to add any more.
1- Please be polite to other posters. At the moment, anyone can join and anyone can post even if they are not a member of the group. As long as we all treat each other with respect, I see no need to change this.
2- Please limit posts to cooking topics. A little personal information is allowable, but let’s not talk of politics, religion, writing, or Harry Potter.
I’ve started the Cooking Nook group because I have several friends who are interested in learning to cook, and some who wish to learn more about cooking than they already know. I am hoping that this group can be a place where beginning cooks can ask questions of those with more experience, and where all can share easy, time-saving recipes. People can certainly post more difficult recipes as well, but we should keep the majority of posts useful to beginning cooks.
I am from the US, and will be using US measurements, etc, when posting. If you are from a place which uses a different system, please feel free to post, but make sure you make note of this difference in your post.
