| About: | OMGWTFPOLARBEAR? When joining a fandom, you'll quickly notice that certain collection of fanwork tends to get more attention than others. As if by coincidence, these fanworks usually center around that one couple that everyone almost always agrees is going to live happily ever after, or wishes for it fervently. Fics celebrating their unions and angsty troubles fill forums. Artwork portraying hand-holding, kissing, blushing and doing the hibbity-jibbity is drawn to their likeness. (IE, Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione. Animorphs, Jake and Cassie. Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Buffy and Angel. Sailor Moon, Usagi and Mamoru, Saiyuki, Sanzo and Goku, Gundam Wing, Heero and Relena. Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman. Yu Yu Hakusho, Yuusuke and Kieko.) We here at Cookies and Cream call that couple a vanilla couple. Then you have that other couple. The couple that is second on the charts, probably not going to happen, but man, wouldn't it be hot if it did? The ones that are almost always accompanied by an NC-17 warning and are a dime a dozen. (Harry/Draco, Jake/Marco, Angel/Spike, Usagi/Seiya and there are so many couple possibilities for Saiyuki, I'll just put ORGY [minus Goku] here, the Duo/Heero, the Batman/Superman, the Kurama/Hiei.) That's what we call the chocolate couple. Then it branches off into a wide variety of flavors and it's kind of hit or miss and almost impossible to pick an absolute favorite. But do you know what we always thought was much more satisfying to sink our teeth into? Cookies n Cream. This is the Ron/Draco, the Angel/Lindsey, the Jake/Tobias, Seiya/Yaten, Nii/Sanzo, Trowa/Heero the Batman/Flash. The Yuusuke/Hiei. The couples that break the fanwork code simply because the characters demand it. This is a haven for that rich flavor that's so hard to get a hold of. Cause if you've thought of it? Chances are so have many, many others. We just need a place to gather. Z'ALLKAY. NOW WUT?
