I'd really like to get another pair of leopard print chucks, if possible. my first pair is getting pretty beat up.

i've been wearing chucks since i was in 6th grade, about 8 years ago. i've pretty much had every single color of the rainbow, plus black and white and multicolored chucks.
i usually own one pair at a time and wear them 'till they're dead. currently i own two pairs at once, one is my regular pair (purple) and the other is my work pair (white). where i work we're allowed to wear all-white sneakers, and i finally found a pair that fit their specifications, and yet were still cool enough for me (i have pink hair, so these match perfectly!).
white with pink insides/accents. recently bleached in the washing machine.

Hey, my name is Natalie, and I'm so glad I found this community.
Converse is my favorite shoe ever! They are so comfortable and I wear them whenever I can. They look great with almost everything, even when they're dirty! In fact, they look better dirty.
Definitely the best shoe ever invented :D

Tonight I picked up a pair of Lo Top Green converse sz 7.5 for $10 plus tax at Marshalls :)
I like Hi Tops better, but I couldn't pass up this deal.
*Edit* I looked up the color and it is "Kelly Green".

This goes out to all the huge waffle-stomper-clad guys~
So, I only have about 3 really good pairs of Chuck Taylors right now, but I've been wearing 'em through and thin for the past decade or so. I have the generic all-black high tops, a thrift-store find of a camo slip-on low top, and another thrift-store find of baby blue high tops. I honestly had no idea they made them in that color, let alone sell them. They're kind of too cute.
Anyway, my main question: is anyone in the group willing to part with the insanely large (not to mention, hard to find) size 13 Chucks? I'll gladly pay whatever you think is appropriate, since I'm really looking forward to boosting my collection. Or, at least until Target starts selling those One-Stars in clearance prices.

how do most of you clean your Chucks? i have heard several methods ... many people say not to put them in the washer, but some people do it with no problems.
i have several pair that are in need of some cleaning- including a sparkly pink pair- and i don't want to mess them up!!!
how do you all clean your beloved Chucks???

i'm looking for a pair of neon pink chucks, new or used, in a size 8 men's, women's 10. i'm willing to pay up to $100 for them, even if they are used. (i can also do trades). additionally, i do not care if they are hi tops or lo tops.
i have been regretting not buying them in 2005 when i had the chance, and recently i've been looking absolutely everywhere for them. but i can't find any anywhere that are in my size. if you have a pair you're willing to part with, please let me know!

I came across this shoe last night while viewing the Famous Footwear's website and fell in love with these shoes. Today when I got on my actual computer, there were no where to be found. I'm looking everywhere and can't find them. Has anyone seen these? I desperately want a pair, or two or three. I wear a men's 4.5/women 6.5 in Converse. Thanks so much in advance!

I am quite upset I didn't get a pair of the Lo Top Stars and Bars when they were on Zappos last year.
Anyone know anything about when they might be available again, or where I might get them? I wear a size 5 (mens).

I got my Target Visa statement in the mail and there was this advertisment for Converse on the envelope. I looked on Target.com and sure enough they're selling them. They call them "One Stars" but if you look on target.com, you'll see what they look like & they look like Chucks!
I just had to pass this on to all the Converse wearing Target shoppers out there. Wait, that's me! LOL

Mods, feel free to delete this if you consider it to be spam, but since it is something Converse is doing, I thought people might be interested!
Converse have teamed up with a new site (it's so new that it is still in beta testing stages), SocialVibe to help raise money and awareness for the American Diabetes Association.
SocialVibe is a site that works with your social networks (LJ, Myspace, Facebook, etc.). You sign up, pick a brand (obviously I picked Converse!), put a banner like the one at the bottom of this post on your profile, and simply for being active on the site you are using, you will earn points for prizes, and more importantly you will be raising money for charity (and with Converse, you will also be raising extra money for the American Diabetes Association).
