A fashion model and modeling agency president will make her debut as a singer next year. Her artist name will be mini, seemingly a reference to the skirts she wears to show off her long legs, which are said to be insured for 100 million yen.

mini, who stands at 159 centimeters tall with 88-cm legs, appears in fashion magazines such as JELLY and BLENDA. Two years ago, she founded a management agency that currently represents about 20 models.

mini has been aiming to become a singer since the age of 15. She is finally achieving that dream with the help of JIN (32), the musician who produces for artists such as GReeeeN. JIN put together the song "Are U Ready?," which mini will release as her first single in February. It will have a tie-in with the commercial for Suzuki's Chevrolet MW, which she will also appear in.

She just screams to be actually produced by Nakata. She seems like someone who Nakata would produce. A president of a model agency?! NAKATA PICK HER UP NOW. Sadly I don't like the b-side, I hope the a-side is amazing, and that the Nakata remix will be epic.

Just came back from the countdown party where Nakata was the main DJ and Capsule performed and I bring good news!

Nakata said Capsule's working on an album coming out this year and they even performed a new song :D (There's about 3 lines of repeating English text sung by Toshiko, sadly couldn't make out what it was, liked the song though)
Sadly no recording because camera's were confiscated at the entrance :(
There were professional photographers though, so I'm sure pictures will turn up sooner or later.

I've been somewhat out of the loop thanks to school eating me this semester and I don't recall seeing many of these posted here, so I'm going to round it all up.

- The new LIAR GAME 2 theme song can be purchased on iTunes Japan. It cannot be bought in the American store as of yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Also, if you haven't been paying attention to the comments from that older LG2 post, capsule's "FLASH BACK" has been used in every episode and I've heard "e.d.i.t." may have been in one of the latest ones. I'm only up to episode 4 so I can't confirm this.

- Nakata will be producing another single for Suzuki Ami coming out next month. I think this was already posted. There is still no title. On a side note, has anyone been watching Ohitorisama? Ami is in it and her fashion is just adorable. Too bad it's always covered by a white doctor's jacket aside from episode 6.

- Like last year, capsule and Perfume will both be on Countdown Japan this year taking place from the 28th to 31st. Perfume will be on the Earth Stage on the 28th (also, Nakata's lover RAM RIDER will be in the DJ booth then) and capsule will be part of the DJ Booth on the last day.

- Looks like Nakata produced another song for SMAP called "CHAN TO SHI NAI TO NE!" ("chanto shinai to ne!" - "you have to do it right"). It's being sold in their SMAP SHOP09 until January 11th, so people in Japan, hop to it (and maybe share with us)! MLCR is saying this is his third production for the group - the first being an arrangement of "Aozora no Mukou" that was on their TV show (damn) and then of course "Kokoro Puzzle Rhythm."

- In remix news, Nakata remixed a song by an American band called Passion Pit on their album "Manners." The song is called "The Reeling" and the remix can be bought on iTunes for 99c. Just type in his name. I looked at some Western fanblogs about this, and it's funny seeing people be all "OMG WHO IS THIS MAN WHY IS HE SO DEPENDENT ON VOCODER." Ah, naivety.

(On a side note, does anyone have the newish CLAZZIQUAI song he remixed? Beat in Love was awesome - but lock Kiss Kiss Kiss if you post it please)
