| About: | Con*Strict is a small, friendly little slashcon held every July in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. There is one program stream, a relaxed, low-key atmosphere, and great pool-side conversations (only in Las Vegas can you comfortably swim at midnight). The con hotel is just off the strip, so no tobacco fumes to tangle with but the bright lights are just round the corner, and there's a full-fledged casino next door. For 2008 the details are: Dates: 11-13 July 2008 Membership: $55 until 16th March 2008, $65 until 30th June 2008 Hotel: Clarion Hotel & Suites Emerald Springs, 325 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV Hotel Rates: $89 per night, single king or double rooms; $109 for king suites These rates are for the Con*Strict room block only, which will be kept open until 15th June 2008; but do be aware that the block might sell out, so early booking is advised.
