Welcome to the NHK! is a collaboration between writer Takimoto Tatsuhiko (滝本竜彦) and artist Oiwa Kendi (大岩ケンヂ). In a few words, the manga is hilarious, disturbing, perverted, and sad. Satou Tatsuhiro is a paranoid and deluded hikikomori who blames his misery on the Nihon Hikikomori Kyoukai (日本引き篭もり協会), or NHK. He enjoys ordering "legal" drugs off the Internet and discussing the conspiracy with the appliances in his apartment.
