The con is still 7 months away. We collect up our stress and use it all in Jan & Feb. ;)

Well, there's a giant comics convention going on in San Diego in a week...

...but I think that's not the con you're looking for.

Oh, and there is a Worldcon in LA at the end of August, probably a bit more fertile ground for filk than Comic Con.
