Great news!
Also, look for a foreword by myself and afterword by the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair, as well as the FragileScrew crossover, in the upcoming FragGrav volume 3 that I don't actually know the name of.
Peace out, Seattle.

24th June 2009Great news! Also, look for a foreword by myself and afterword by the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair, as well as the FragileScrew crossover, in the upcoming FragGrav volume 3 that I don't actually know the name of. Peace out, Seattle. 16th June 2008We've had a vague bit of bother with the registrar -- I'm going to try and get this worked out tomorrow. If you haven't seen yet, ConScrew.com ain't working. However, the sites are still available at: ConScrew: http://conscrew.ipower.com/index.ph Kalibourne: http://conscrew.ipower.com/yuushahi Blacklight: http://conscrew.ipower.com/blacklig Sticky Wicket: http://conscrew.ipower.com/wicket I expect this to be fixed midday tomorrow, fingers crossed. I'm not a fan of this, either, so please be patient. (This would have to happen on a con weekend, yeah?) More information as it becomes available. Current Mood:
8th May 2007Today's installment marks the 200th page of Kalibourne -- so here's a wallpaper for all! 1280x1024 1024x768 800x600 21st March 2007The archives for Sticky Wicket should be working again now. Sorry 'bout that. For those who actually care about my costumes, the photo gallery for that is 100% online again, including one -- count 'em, one -- new photo of Mikoto. (Hey, that rhymes.) Please, please please please, if anyone has photos of the new costumes, get in touch with me. Don't worry about Elizabeth Swann Mk. 2, because she hasn't actually left the flat yet. Soon 'nuff. Still poking at stuff here and there, mostly updating links and galleries. One new MAX Art pic, courtesy of Reed Hawker, in the ConScrew gallery. It's cute, and it's of Mimi. Otherwise, all's quiet on the Jefferson front. Except for that dumpster. Current Mood:

15th March 20071. Reports for MarsCon and Katsucon are finally up in the con reports. 2. ConScrew and Blacklight galleries are updated with art trades. 3. My art portfolio has gotten an overhaul -- lots of new art, and weeding out some of the old stuff as I go. 4. Sticky Wicket 1 is back to me briefly for some reformatting. Hoping to get my side of that done before the weekend, and then 5. Blacklight Issue 1 is moving ahead now, with extra art instead of maps. Maps of Mai'lu (as done by Current Mood:

13th March 2007To keep myself on track, mostly, but still. ( Printing progress ... ) Also, art site, complete overhaul. Need to either take down that thing about new art thumbnails being outlined, or figure out why outlining them pisses off my layout. Current Mood:
14th February 2007The forum works again. All accounts must be activated before you can post, in what is possibly a futile attempt to keep out spambots. Incidentally, I'm still beholden to FuitadNET for a few things ... mainly being getting kalibourne.com back under my wing. So if that link takes you nowhere, that's why. I'm doing my best to get it back in my possession. Hopefully it won't take a hell of a lot longer. Current Mood:
30th January 2007![]() Well, the site is all relocated and ready to go ... however, FuitadNET is being very unhelpful with changing over the DNS. Erm, that basically means making www.conscrew.com take you to the site at its new location, rather than the sinkhole of misery left behind on Fuitad. Not letting this go, though. They've got a lot of hell to deal with from me yet. Current Mood:
29th January 2007![]() I know have the site nearly fixed on the new server ... but the Fuitards won't change over the DNS stuff. I will be spending pretty much all of today riding their arses until something is done. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. You had better fscking believe it. Current Mood:
28th January 2007Since my site is still not up, here is today's Blacklight. Right now, I'm working on transferring all my backed-up files to my new server ... but changing the domain name over is another issue ... I may still be reliant on Fuitad for that. Still sorry. Monday's ConScrew will, of course, go on here if necessary. Current Mood:
Or the tragedies of Fuitadnet After much agonising, I joined up with the manga-ka in the fuitdanet irc chat last night. After general griping to each other and a mod, someone came on who had managed to chat with the president of fuitadnet. We've been told that we Americans will have to wait till Mon for that support team to show back up (it's a Canadian company donchya know) and he (the president) realises it's a consistent problem (with everyone thankfully, not just conscrew.com). They claim there's no solution and there was much griping about fuitadnet just being a bunch of kiddies. I do beleive that our manga-ka has managed to get everything backed-up now and moving to a new host...but perhaps that's something I should let her explain. Suffice to say, the site is still down, she (and we even) has been trying to get it working, we are talking about a mirror that won't be current but a working backup in an odd way. And this is my rant for the day since obviously I can't post it with the comic =P (which will come later) The Mich fumes! 27th January 2007I've been sitting in the IRC chat for Fuitad for about 4 hours now ... and nothing. Posting the newest Kalibourne ( here. ) ETA: I had the shrunk-down pic. This should be better for your eyes. 10th December 2006Second week of the Christmas special up. Blacklight this week. Speaking of that, Blacklight donation wallpaper is ready to go. Feh. You can't see, but I am catching up with stuff. Honest. And I promise you're not the only one annoyed with me, whoever you are reading this. Current Mood:
6th December 2006I hope you don't find this rude, and please forgive me if it sounds strange, because I feel really strange writing it. Perhaps, Kara, you could spread Clo's ashes around, or sneak them into the ocean... so that she can explore all she wants. Once again, sorry if I have tweaked anything that you would rather have left untweaked. ~Marikalay 5th December 2006So ComicSpace has just opened. Looks essentially like MySpace, but is for networking 'mongst webcomic artists and (most importantly) hosting comics. Which means I'll be using it as a mirror when the site is down. So please, bookmark The Jefferson Institute. I'll be linking it from various areas of my site during my next round of updates. If, for whatever reason, the site is down or something appears wrong, comics will go up on the JI ComicSpace. And no, I'm still not gonna get a real MySpace. ... on the donations page. Blacklight one isn't far behind. Thanks for bein' patient. Current Mood:
3rd December 2006conscrewDOTcom Christmas 2006. Not the grand affair I'd planned, but hopefully you'll all still like it. A new picture every Sunday through December, with one last picture on Christmas day (which is a Monday). You can download each picture as a regular web size, print quality, or wallpaper. This week, ConScrew-themed. Current Mood:
24th November 2006I'd better see some serious activity on this forum from now on, because it nearly killed the site to get it working again. I shall rantify and explain. Current Mood:
Forum works again! Thank you, Fuitad. One less thing for us all to do. Current Mood:
20th November 2006...the forums and the store are not quite... there. ...? [EDIT: Did they get hacked recently or did they just never come back up from the hacking several days ago?] Current Mood:
16th November 2006We're back! Well, kinda. I'm gonna have to rebuild the front page php, but I'll try to get that done today. Bitches changed all my index files. But you can still read the comics on CS and Kali, as I've posted 'em manually. 6.28 AM EST, and nothing. I'm back on LiveChat with tech support from Fuitad, and 'Sachin' says it's going to be about another 4-6 hours. Last night around 11.30, Sharon (who's apparently important) said to 'give it another hour'. So I'm not sure how reliable the estimates are anymore. I'm not sure of any other ways to get the word out re: what's going on, so if you know or have a way, do tell. As the entire site is down, that kind of puts a crimp in doing it in any way that vasts numbers will see. However!!! In the meantime, I've uploaded today's Kalibourne elsewhere for your enjoyment. ( Under the cut. ) Sachin isn't exactly being forthcoming with information on the fix -- like if my files are safe at all (although Sharon said everything was backed up fine on their end). Checking my computer, I can't find everything I thought I could initially, so I'm kind of concerned. Everyone start checking your caches. Current Mood:
15th November 2006So, conscrew.com is temporarily down because the server got hacked!!! (My provider, not me personally.) Fuitad has assured me that they're really pushing this and expect the site to be back up and running by the end of the day. So hopefully the Kali update won't be compromised ... I will be very pissy if it is. Also, this means my @conscrew e-mail currently isn't working, so if you sent me something, have patience. Current Mood:
6th November 2006Have it! Mostly good ... just one or two serious complaints, and a few tongue-in-cheek ones. Please send any costume pics you have, especially of my new one (Haruhi bunnygirl). Ta! Current Mood:
1st November 2006... are now available for all comics. Have at 'em. If you wanted the October ones ... too bad, they be gone! Current Mood:
