Okay, more coherent now. I love the Joker! I love how Heath Ledger just makes him come alive, and real, and perfect. He was damn scary in the movie, but he was never as scary for me as he was for my friends, because every time I looked at him part of me was mourning him. Sigh. I love the Batman! The guy is hot, and he pulls off the whole complicatedly-confused thing so well. I love how the plot twisted and turned and turned upside down again and again! I love the ending! I love all the moral complications! I loved the ferry scene!

Long day yesterday. Came home from work and decided, nah, don't need to sleep. Putzed around for awhile, went out for lunch with twinsis and lil bro to celebrate our coming birthday, since he's busy next week on the actual day of. Went to the street fair currently going on in town. Contemplated buying a new tote bag made with the cover of the Beatles' Revolver album, finally decided against it as those things are highly overpriced. The street fair always has the same things year after year... Then nap. ^^ Our plans for the evening fell through, as the two X-Files fans I was hanging out with realized that the movie doesn't hit theaters til next week. >.> Hung out and watched some MST3K instead. XD Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and Angels' Revenge. Was NOT going to subject myself to Manos: The Hands of Fate again!! Both were pretty damn funny (or maybe I was still really tired!) but it was no Eegah or Pod People. Next time I'm out I'll have to see if I can find the movie, since they finally put it on DVD in May.

Meeting up with another group of friends today for a party/evening of embarrassment for the bachelorette soon getting married. Haven't been to a bachelorette party since my older sister's a few years back. ^^;;;;;; We'll see, but it should be fun! Those rainclouds have one hour to clear outta here.

Nothing to make a day look much brighter than getting a call from my son from France! He even went looking for a phone box just so that he could call me and tell me that he is fine and that he is having a lot of fun.

I'm so relieved to hear that! The last time I heard from him was last Saturday, a five word text message to tell me that they have arrived safely, so I was starting to worry, especially since I couldn't reach him on his mobile either. Turns out, that it is empty. Duh. And he almost managed to spend most of his pocket money, too, which was quite a lot.

But I'm just happy that he is save and that he is having a great time!

Also, please tell me that I'm not the only one who actually has to spend a considerably amount of time when I want to find a book? I just spent almost an hour trying to find the first Hambly vampire book... But at least I found it and can refresh my memory about the story now before starting with the second book.

And now let's see what my tooth thinks about eating. I'm so hungry, but whenever I even think about eating, I get flashes of unimaginable pain from my attempts to eat something during the last few days. But maybe the soup will be all right. After that my hair and then maybe some more writing. Yes! I feel quite re-energized now after that call, I have to admit. I really miss him.

Er, yes. And since I clearly won't finish the fic anymore tonight (I added a bit to it, though), have in honor of The International Femslash Day two images that I just scanned. They are not really femslashy, but they have pretty vintage girls spending quality time together, and who knows if drinking coffee and talking is really all they do :)

I just dropped $50 on that summersonic ticket, and I'm really only feeling Tokyo Police Club on the concert bill. But basically, I think I'm going to head down there at 5 (even though the gates open at 2) and crash my way through the crowd during In-Flight Safety, so I can be really close to the stage for when TPC is on. Then I suppose I'll just hang around during The Weakerthans and City and Colour. sdlfkj I love how I'm just hanging around for some of the biggest Canadian bands on the bill. DAVID MONKS, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BRAIN.

I'm already calling terrorcandy for "Be Good" (if they play it) and partaken for either "Your English Is Good" or "Centennial". I just hope they don't frisk me for my phone :( Also I have no camera! I was thinking of snapping up a disposable one, but that wouldn't make sense as I don't have a scanner, and what is the point of taking pictures in this day and age if you can't put them on facebook?

Input appreciated, as I am a social creature, and cannot exercise my own will without the input of my entire friendslist.
