After hearing so much about how the mangaka likes Conrad/Yuuri and adds more of that pairing in the manga than there is in the novels or anime... I wondered if that dance scene from chapter 13 in the manga was originally in the novel.

pyrrhic_victoly)I'm slowly working my way through the second novel. I'm only on chapter 1 right now, but I found this scene to be different (and with more ConYuu) than the anime. It's when Yuuri returns to Shin Makoku and the guys in the bath attack Gunter. Conrad is so sweet! And the two of them totally ignore poor Gunter to talk about baseball!
On a slightly unrelated topic, I've had to do some research about Japanese baseball, and a lot of subtle ConYuu hints just clicked.
Yuuri's favorite team is the Saitama Seibu Lions, whose mascot is a white lion and whose team colors are white and blue. So when Yuuri and Gwendal are in the desert and he says he likes lions more than cats, especially white ones, he's thinking about baseball. He also refers to the pendant as "lion blue", as in "blue like the Lions' uniforms".
...We all know what they call Conrad. Then there's the "lion blue" color of his flower, Conrad Stands Upon the Earth, and...when he's not in uniform, doesn't Conrad usually wear white and blue? Is it just me, or is Conrad practically Yuuri's walking baseball fantasy? And this isn't even taking into account the "White Julia". Oooh, the symbolism!
Anyway, on to the translation!
Edit: Added a bunch of stuff at the beginning of the scene because there was a teeny ConYuu bit that I cut out earlier. I should also mention that I'm working mostly off the Chinese version found on sky-fire.

In the story Yuuri pretended to die and lived on the outskirts of town so Shinou could train him to be a better king. He somehow (I can't remember) ends up becoming captain of a group of soldiers meant to be Yuuri's personal training soldiers/guards for his birthday, but he 'died' before he got them as a present. If somebody remembers the story I would appreciate hearing from you! Thankyou (and sorry for the description I can't remember the story much)

stargate27)I read this in a magazine about anime (a French magazine). They always do a part on what will come out in France (way behind on the rest of teh world, LOL) and what will come out in Japan.
In the section of the Japan news stood that at the end of May a new batch of OVA's for KKM will get released gradually. It would be 18 episodes and called KKM Final. The episodes are set after season three.
Has anyone heard anything about this too?
