.general rules.

All posts should be about Conrad. No off-topic posts and no general KKM discussion is allowed; this includes announcements of new fansubs, soundtracks, games, and other releases. There are other comms to fulfill those needs, like kyou_kara_maou, maouismycopilot, and kkm_media. If you are in doubt about the acceptability or appropriateness of a post, please contact one of the mods first.

All material related to Conrad is acceptable, including but not limited to discussion threads, fanfic, fanart, icons, AMVs, official art, screencaps, and doujinshi scans (raw/scanlated). We welcome yaoi, het, gen, and character studies of all ratings. In short, anything and everything goes as long as Conrad is at the heart of it (or at least deeply involved). See below for specific posting guidelines. And see the next two rules for exceptions to "anything goes".

Respect your fellow KKM fans, whether you know they are members of this comm or not. That is to say: No Fangirl/Fanboy Bashing, of an individual or general nature. It's okay to have differences of opinion, but not to get personal about it.

No Character Bashing Whatsoever. Since this comm is for Conrad appreciation and discussion, obviously we don't want to see Conrad bashed. But we also don't want to see ANY character hating going on. Everyone has different likes and dislikes, and of course we don’t expect you to like all the characters. But we do expect you to respect your fellow comm members – and Conrad.

No Pairing Bashing Whatsoever. See above. Posts with character-hate and/or pairing-hate will be deleted on sight. The poster will receive a warning and be put on moderated status. A second offense will result in being banned.

.posting rules.

Any post that contains spoilers must be appropriately labeled and the spoilers themselves put behind an lj-cut.

Please put all fanworks behind an lj-cut, with headers and other notes before the cut.

SUMMARY:

Please lock all adult material. Additionally, please include "NWS" in the headers for explicit images that would not be considered safe for viewing at work.

Please lock all doujinshi posts. If you are the original scanner, please include a note about your distribution policy (whether comm members are free to share the scans and/or host links elsewhere). If you are not the original scanner, please make sure the person or group has an open distribution policy (or has given you permission to share here).

When posting graphics, please respect the wishes of the original artist as to credits and usage. As a general rule, you should not use fanart from any artist without their express permission. And it's best not to post fanworks of any type that are not your own. Linking to them (but not hotlinking; see next rule) and reccing are fine.

Under no circumstances will hotlinking be allowed. This means anything, including artwork and icons. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be banned, no questions asked, no second chances. If you need space, there are plenty of photo hosts out there, or contact pixisity at the above address.

Enthusiasm is wonderful, but we don't want to overwhelm anyone. We definitely want to read your posts, but if we get flooded we're likely to start skipping them. To keep everyone happy, please keep your posts to a maximum of two per hour. First time offenders will be warned and put on moderated status; second time offenders will be banned.

On a similar note: Crossposting is fine, but to avoid the appearance of spamming everyone's f-list, please do not post simultaneously to multiple comms. Instead, please wait a few hours or even a day before posting the same thing to a different comm.
