ConFuzzled Focus - Edition 4
ConFuzzled Focus - Edition 4

Just a pre-note: We had a staff meeting this week. Lots more stuff is due to be announced soon.
Keep your eyes open for info here!

This week, I had to run manically as a man in a bi-plane chased me. We'll be concentrating on the

Furrylimpics event.

Furrylimpics will be held outside in the car parking area near Potato Wharf or in our main stage (badger) area in case of bad weather.

In a typical elimination game, with four rounds, and 15 entrants, We'll be having such fun rounds, including:
Cats vs Dogs
A game where the canines and felines battle trying to complete the paw-print puzzle before the timer runs out.
The winner goes through to the final.

'Dog bone' relay race
A race with a big chewy bone you're only allowed to balance on your muzzle. If you drop it, you start all over again!
The winner goes through to the final.

Musical chairs
'nuff said. The winner goes through to the final.

Hula-hoop madness!
This is where you have to complete a minimum number of circles and try to get your entire team through it, the winner goes through to the final.

and.. "Peg It!" our final!

A game of our own invention, by the wonderful Dingotush!
When he did a trial run of the game, he ended up like this:

You have to get all your 'pegs' onto the fursuiter, you can't pick any up if they drop off. They have to then 'peg it' (run across) the area the games are happening in and ditch them all in a box. The person who keeps the most wins our special prize!

We say this is "It's a Knockout meets Takeshi's Castle". But in the case we're outside, we are hoping that you do NOT end up IN THE CANAL!

Lots of fun prizes will be given to the winners, including a limited edition ConFuzzled prize to the 'Gold Medal' winner.

Cool :D

And that picture is adorable, but how dare you do that to Kibble, he's too cute to stick pegs all over.

There's several people who make suits over here.

I personally highly recommend Leopardcorgi, who made the one in my userpic, though on checking her site I see that she's presently closed for commissions (www.leopardcorgi.co.uk).

There's a German maker who is spoken highly of too if you can look beyond the Channel: http://www.anthrocreations.com/

If you ask on one of the fursuit communities, e.g. [info]fursuitlounge you can probably get more recommendations.
