AboutPLEASE READ THIS BEFORE JOINING THE COMMUNITY - YOUR MEMBERSHIP MAY NOT BE APPROVED!
The name of this community really describes it. ConFURvatives are Furries who are conservative, right-wing, republican, liberitarian, or even just Christian. This is NOT a hateful community. Your moderator is a hard-core libertarian and will not tolerate hate speech against any group of people (gays, minorities, Christians etc).
Unlike other political communities that often have constant arguing between liberals and conservatives - ConFURvatives is strictly for conservative discussion and is not for liberal/conservative debate. Membership is moderated to ensure the group stays 100% right-wing. The reason for this is to eliminate flaming of conservatives and trolling of the group. Since being one in the furry fandom isn't the easiest of things to be, these kinds of actions are necessary.
Since it's beginning, this community has always been moderated. I will not accept non-conservatives, sorry but this group is for conservative furries ONLY! When joining PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO ME. I have a hard time getting to know you and where you stand politically when all I have to go by is your user info page! You will not be granted membership to this community unless you email me personally and tell me about yourself and why you want to join. I have the right to deny and revoke any membership and I'm not afraid to do it - so be honest! I also will not approve memberships to people who have freshly created journals, sorry, but that screams troll to me.
