I'm having some issues with my background image (main page background image) showing up.

Below is my code - warning - i'm a bit new to LJ so hope i'm doing this right.

My code/layer thing is here:

Hi guys,

*points to icon* I moved to Dreamwidth months ago and have progressively stopped being active on LJ so I think it's time to step down as a maintainer of this community. Please leave [info]kunzite1 time to regroup and make a decision regarding the future of this community. If you have questions and nobody answers, I encourage you to post to [info]s2styles.

I've learned a lot thanks to you and you all have my heartfelt gratitude. *hugs*

Hi, I'd like to embed a playlist from MixPod in one of my components, but I must have something wrong. I have the component set up and ready, but everything I paste into it doesn't show up. After staring at the HTML I don't know how to edit it to work. But I do know they work in LJ because I've posted them in entries or put them in my userinfo. They work without the ljembed tag too.

An example of the MixPod playlist can be found in my userinfo.

Its code:

Layer source code.

If no one has any ideas I can just go back to using the image based last.fm charts for my music component. As lame as that is.

for those of you who have been using my various scripts and any other pages on my website you may have noticed that they've been broken for a while.

well! it has been resolved. however, it will take some changes.

http://www.mm1swebcreations.com/ has now become http://www.mymm1.com/
the subdomains should be active as well.

Hi all. I already know how to do this for my own journal, but I'm trying to help a friend add a scrollbar to her side component. I looked at her code, but it's set up differently from mine, so I don't know what to tell her without messing up her code. I know she needs to add a div id. But I don't know where she should place that because her code is set up differently than mine. It's for her side component Favorite BPAL scents.

Her layer info number is #10300401

She would also like her tags to be a tag cloud. I looked at the tutorial for that, but since her code is so different from mine, I didn't know where to begin to tell her how to do it.

I was hoping someone here with better expertise could possibly help.

Thank you very much.

Another tedious question from yours truly...

What if I wanted to use a different user info icon for select users?

Specifically, I use to represent users. I have the token male on my friends list and would like to use for him, so he's not so emasculated. ;-)

The entries on my friends list with no icons (ie. RSS feeds) have smaller left margins than those who do have icons. I'd like to set the left margin on my entries so that they all line up, and have been trying to do so with no luck. Can anyone help? Thanks! :)

I'm sorry if this is stupid lol. I looked at the tags and tried some tutorials but none of them work with my coding or i'm not doing it right. I was wondering how to get a scrollbar on the sidebar, like this. Thanks in advance.

Here are the codes.

So I know it's possible to add a nav bar to the top of the layout rather than the side but is it possible to move components from the side of the layout to the top? (a little like this but in the component style rather than smooth sailing.)

Thanks :)

Hey everyone, does anyone know how to make the little line that appears below subject titles in entries to reappear? Mine disappeared randomly. Layer stuff.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is the line and how it looks on default Component layouts, and this is how it looks now. I tried editing the colors a little and changing the font and the font spacing but nothing seems to be working. I'm really sorry if this is something completely obvious, but in my other layout this didn't happen and I'm using the same codes so I'm a little baffled. Thanks!

P.S. Just wanted to say that this community is extremely helpful. :D
