One of the advertising communities I'm a member of has a rule that if you post an image it has to fit within a width of 500 and a height of 300; can't be any bigger. Since the average icon is 100x100 and the current LJ setup makes it so that community icons spring up a menu that can direct you to join or friend an account...

...this seems like a really simple way to advertise 15 communities in one post!

Don't see why I can't do it with some others as well.

Kinda tempted to make them expanding icons, click and it takes you there as well, but I'm not gonna push my luck.

TRAILER PARK ENFORCED RULES

* Please note these are not game rules you can Role Play any of them and it's depends on your storyline if you want your character(s) to get caught *

Management reserves the right to add to remove or change any of these rules at any time. Non-compliance with any of these rules may cause immediate eviction and expulsion from the trailer park:

No disturbing other residents, meaning do not make a pest or general ass out of yourself.

Drunkeness will not be tolerated. No drinking outside your home, please do not wander around the park drunk.

Pets should remain in your home and not run around the park unattended. Please walk your dogs on leashes.

Do not let children run around unattended, we the management reguard them the same as we do pets.

No fighting of any kind, this means no punchin' and no hollerin' either. Doesn't matter what time of the day it is.

The pool hours are 10am - 10pm. Do not get in it, do not even go near it after hours. No lifeguard is present so if you stupid don't swim. The manager may see you drowning but that doesn't mean he is going to get wet and save your ass.

Please dispose of your trash in the dumpster, do not litter. We would like to keep this place looking beautiful like we all know it is. Empty beer bottles should not be discarded on your front lawn or anyone else's. Your lawn or anyone else's is not an ashtray. Please when you purchase new previously owned furniture do not put your old furniture out as a lawn decoration. Last but not least, we know they are fancy but no hanging beer can wind chimes from the exterior of your home.

No cars up on blocks. No using your front yard to do maintenance on any vehicles

This rule is disturbing but it must be said. While outside of your trailer you must be clothed. Please close the curtains or blinds before walking around in the nude or having sex near a window. Please also do not have sex outside of your home, this includes the pool.

Remember no one owns the trailer they reside in, they are rental properties. We won't sell to you so don't ask.

Following these simple rules should make your life here in Palace Mobile Home Village more enjoyable for yourself and everyone living here.

Characters may be anyone including but not limited to band members, band managers, actors, actresses models... etc. Original characters are welcomed as long as you have pictures of what they look like. Theres is no limit on the amount of characters you have as long as you are active. Please don't let it get out of hand. Please comment Appropriate Post to put a character on hold. Holds will last 3 DAYS if you need longer for any reason please let us know.

This is a LiveJournal RP, so please make a LJ only for your character. The livejournal should have something to do with your character. Roleplays take place on AIM please make an AIM screen name for your character. Please make sure that your AIM has something to do with your character. If you have more than one character please make a separate screen name and journal for each character.

Please also note your characters live journal with an appropriate disclaimer to let people know that it is for Role Playing purposes only and you are not the character you are portraying. No OOC (out of character) drama Again everyone repeat this NO OOC DRAMA. Your start it we ban you end of story. Please everyone be mature and respectful so everyone can have fun. Focus on your drama IC (in character) instead to keep it interesting.

No God moding. This is NEVER acceptable. Only play and control your own character and let everyone else play there own. If you really have to control another character then make a second character

No death of a character permitted. If you need or want to quit playing a character be nice and make them move away so someone else can pick up the character later. We do not require a new member picking up a previously played character to keep the storylines unless they would like to. Please let a mod know that you are leaving so we can open that character up to someone else

Male pregnancy is allowed. No MOD approval is needed due to the nature of the setting. Many different kinds of relationships are allowed, just like in real life. Marriage and Divorce is allowed without the concent of a mod. Polyamorous relationships are allowed and incest is allowed if that truly makes you happy. Pretty much anything goes in less it causes too much of a controversy.

Please update your character journals at least once every two weeks. If you go more then 2 weeks without posting we will be forced to pull you character. Although we understand things happen, we would like to keep an active community. After you have been removed twice from the community you are not allowed back in.

Please let a moderator know if you will be gone for a long period of time. We will set your character to a haitus

Role playing in any form is allowed, third person most commonly used.

Please be literate and do not use net speak (EX: Instead of 2 spell out too or instead of U spell out You) do not use lol or smiley's ect. when your character is in person with another person. When your character is talking on AIM with another character this is acceptable however.

Please somehow separate actions from dialogue (EX: I walk over to you and smile "Hello" ) if you need help please let someone know

Please somehow separate your OOC conversations from your IC conversations. Using something such as (( )) or {{ }} or // or ++ in front of to signify this is not happening between your characters will really help and avoid confusion.

Mischief Managed is an original character, contemporary Harry Potter RPG currently seeking talented writers. We are a unique community of original characters that still respect the canon laws of the Harry Potter universe. This is a slash friendly RPG, but is not limited solely to slash, we have, and welcome het role playing as well as slash and femme slash. This RPG was conceived originally as a follow-on from another RP, Court of the Rose, which was a Tudors RP. The characters were all going to be essentially shifted forward approx. 500 years, a reincarnation if you will. As such, King Henry VII, is now Henry King, CEO of a large company, Sir Thomas More, is now Thomas More QC. The idea behind the RP has snowballed, and as such the premise is altered slightly.

We therefore welcome any and all new members, original characters or Tudors reincarnations, to participate in a real life RP community. There are two mods for the community, and we run a pretty free reign on it, allowing creativity, essentially just keeping the game in check. The RP is conducted in threads, with an intro given before an LJ cut. Every two weeks, a mod will post a bulletin, informing the entire comm where each character is in their own storylines, allowing for new plot lines to be invented and implemented through discussions with all members.

We operate an open application system, your application is submitted onto an unlocked thread on the community, and each current member of the community is entitled to ask questions about your application, and each member has a voting right on each application. Mod decision, is however, final.

Welcome to Niihau +
The island of Niihau is one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. Family owned, but uninhabited since the late 1960's. The Anderson family had purchased it in the 40's to open a school for Wayward Girls and Boys. But lack of funds closed the doors in 1968 and the island had been uninhabited ever since. This resorted in the island being taken over by the native Hawaiian wildlife. Three years ago, in 2005, the Andersons finally decided to sell the island that had been in their family for years. They decided to offer it up to friends first, and the Orton’s had been there friends for 20 years or better. Their son, WWE Star, Randy Orton, jumped at the chance to purchase the island. Signing and offering the money right away, because the idea of fixing up the island and re-opening the school sounded like a pretty amazing idea, and he knew that his best friend, John Cena, would be the perfect one to run it with him. The idea of helping troubled youth was one that he was really interested in, especially since his 12 year old daughter had started to show the signs and acting out herself. Randy believed that all troubled teens with the right motivation could be reformed and he believed that he and Cena were the right men for the job. So now in 2008, after 3 years of restoration and construction of a small town. Niihau was ready to be reopened. John and Randy both lobbied to a bunch of corporations, using the fact that they were still stars of the WWE, to help build a small town, so if they needed any of the basic needs, they wouldn't have to fly or take a boat to one of the bigger islands. It wasn't much, just a few choice restaurants, small shopping mall and a grocery store, even a pub for the staff. They didn't want people to feel as isolated as they really were, and everything turned out better then they imagined. Not to mention all of this was done without disturbing the wildlife that much, they had even made a sanctuary just for all the animals that where there. The rules are strict, but it's only to help the teenagers better their life, and its pure genius being on an island far away from any place, and no way to run. John and Randy have faith that whatever the students problem is that comes here, they'll be able to fix it, and they figure they won't have any problems getting staff for the place, who wouldn't want to work and live in paradise?

We are a multi-fandom RPG, so Bandom, Actors & Actresses, WWE wrestlers, Athletes and Scene Kings & Kings are welcome. We also accept Myspace Scene Kids and Original Characters, though we ask that you don't bring in a character with your own face, because that is creepy. So if there is anyone that you've ever wanted to play, then by all means come here and play them! The sky is pretty much the limit.

We'd like to note that this group is HET, Slash and Femmeslash friendly. We also accept dark lines; we give you the right to be as creative as you want to be with your own lines. We also allow you to bring your lines from other communities that you may have left, or were closed down. To this community, as long as the line you want to continue that both characters are available. We realize the rules are long, but they are mostly how to keep things running smoothly OOC & IC. So we hope that you take a look, like what you see and join. I know that Reform schools or schools in general have been done to death, but we tried to give a different spin on it. Game Info: 2012: The ashes of a bitter war have finally settled. An unjust tyrant has finally been deposed, and a compassionate leader put in his place. A small gathering of special people heralded the victory, and began the move toward a rebuilding.

However, another war is already creeping under the surface. Indeed, a danger far greater than this world has ever witnessed is about to fall upon it. One so great, no hero can face it alone. The only hope for this hapless world is an alliance of all those who call themselves Earth's protectors.

But even if they unite under one banner...can even they stand?

- General Backstory -

2006, November 7th. Having painted his own death numerous times, Isaac Mendez retreats from New York and goes into hiding. A day later, New York explodes, and time continues on in much the same way as Hiro Nakamura witnessed in his trip to 2011.

2007, March 16th. Isaac Mendez accidentally draws the death of a young girl, and is instrumental in rescuing her with the help of a man named Aaron Rosen. Later that year, the Petrelli family is found brutally murdered in their home.

2008, September 24th. Isaac Mendez and a small group of Special people, including Hiro and Peter, organize a mass-break out of the Special Prison Moab, and formally creates the Rebellion with those rescued

2010, June 10th. Elle Bishop defects to the Rebels, and works as an undercover agent against President Petrelli, now known to the rebellion as Sylar.

2012, Mid-August. Rose and Jack are suddenly and unknowingly ripped from their universe and dropped into this one, along with the TARDIS, and sans their Doctor

2012, Early December. The Rebellion stages a successful coup, killing President Sylar in the process, and placing Peter Petrelli into the Presidency in his stead.

2012, December 21st. Jack reawakens in the Torchwood morgue, after his encounter with Abbadon

2012, December 23-26th. Bruce Wayne organizes a Christmas party for high profile people across America and Europe--a thin disguise for a Super Hero Christmas Party. A presumed glitch in his security systems causes a three day lock down of the manor. The Joker, whose entrance triggered the lock down, makes his appearance, but finds little interest in attacking now that the security measures are in place, and chooses instead to make trouble.

Torchwood, Time Agent-Jack, and the Doctor uncover a plot by the Time Agency to use the collection of super heroes for a dark plot, and are able to combine their forces with those of the X-men and Bruce Wayne to thwart it. In the scuffle, the Joker is apparently killed by Myfanwy, but his body disappears.

When the security defenses deactivate, the Doctor returns to the TARDIS, Torchwood returns to the Hub, and Time Agent-Jack returns home in a concerted effort to prevent the completion of the Time Agency's plans--resulting in the two year memory wipe of Jack.

The others at the party go their separate ways, and a meeting between the X-men and the President is planned.

2012, December 27th. Jack vanishes from Torchwood with the Doctor. Rose and Jack make contact with Bruce Wayne and Rachel Dawes.

Relations between Muggle and Wizard have reached an all-time high. There are even policies in place to completely eliminate the statute of secrecy and all its subsidiary policies within the next few years, including a visit by Prime Minister Tony Blair this summer to Diagon Alley!

Obviously, there are movements to return the pendulum the other way. A Separatist Movement is forming using nom de plumes from a variety of characters.

Even more strangely, those known to be dead have been appearing. While no one seems to know the rationale, no one can deny that it is happening.

Now, the Ministry is fighting two battles. One, to encourage Muggle and Wizard interactions, and the other to define where these dead citizens belong.

We are looking for vibrant characters with a thirst to redefine the wizarding world. Original Characters are welcome, but please be aware that certain rules apply.

This is an epic-style game. Plot arcs spanning months are welcome and encouraged!

For specific player-driven plots we are very much in need of Neville Longbottom! The loyal DA crew would love to have him around. Specifically, Luna and Ginny have expressed missing their close friend and confidant!

Weasley Clan! We need you! Ron and Ginny are minus their parents and brothers. The Ministry's current position on Muggles raises the Weasley name in society and power. Percy Weasley has just been given a promotion! We would love to have him wreaking havoc having reached the next peak in his Ministry career!

Muggle-lovers, Muggleborns and Half-bloods are especially desired! The Ministry wants to give you MONEY! (war reparations). You are wanted by the Ministry for positions of power and influence. Aurors and other Ministry officials are very much encouraged! OCs welcome!
