| About: | A community for girlfans of any and all comic books. Join and talk all you want about your favorite books, characters, anything. Images and fanfic are also welcome. Warning: some content posted may be 18 and over.
1) NO promotion by corporate entities/businesses. It's nice that you run/ are affiliated with a small comics related business, but we don't want to see your advertisement. That's called spamming. Of course, I very much doubt most of these places read the rules before posting, so I'll probably end up deleting entries that fall in this category, but I will change the rules on the info page to reflect this policy.
2) Do not post here just to promote some other fan website/community/etc. If you're a member of this comm, and find something that you think might interest the rest of us, that's fine. But if you find yourself writing a post that's basically an advertisement, please think twice before posting it. If in doubt, feel free to email me, and I'll let you know if it's appropriate.
3) Try to keep EBay/other auction posts to a minimum. Infrequent postings of this kind are acceptable, but I am going to keep an eye on it.
4) Comic reviews are great! But please, if possible, post the reviews here, under a cut tag (to avoid spoilers, and just as common courtesy) so we can all respond to said review. Linking us to your own journal or some website doesn't give us much chance for community discussion, after all.
