thats it. the time for civil debate is past. you want to get mean? how bout it?.
first off, im not a goddamn kid so quite f*ckin callin me one! i, as a matter of fact, have a whole hell of a lot more potential then you will ever have. there is always something wrong with everyone's version of anatomy because everyone is different. yes i have seen the garbage you choose to call art and its a complete waste of internet space. thats right, utter retarded garbage. you cant draw for shit! you're jealous because im better than you ever have or ever will be. hell, my little 3 yr old can draw better than you! you can refrain from putting words in my mouth aswell. i rarely ever tell anybody that they suck until i'm asailed by blathering, mindless, drunken, wanna-be artist rejects! you need a serious reality check if you think i had just randomly insulted the person with whom i was exchanging good hearted criticism with. that was directed at you when you decided to add your 2 cents from the peanut gallery that nobody asked for in the first place! i dont draw FROM anything, Dick, and even if i did, theres no way in hell that i would ever pick yours. it wouldnt even line my damn cats litter box. you're the one who needs to get out more often and lay off the booze although i dont think it will help your selfish asshole personality one bit.
i might as well go ahead and tell you that you have failed to impress us with your character or personality towards others. yes, thats right. im not who i have been letting on. i am actually a seasoned 10 year veteran of DC comics Inc. and we have been scouting for prospects that have not only talent but a winning personality and you failed all aspects. i have personally worked on more than twenty different comics and scripts and have furthered the careers of some of DC's top artists. i was not supposed to let this be known but you just annoyed me to much. i have a very successful life and i can say that you never will as long as you continue to judge people with this kind of attitude. take this from "the largest whiney bitch on the internet", you, sir, need to grow up and stop wasting everyone else's time.
Thank you and goodnight

Dude, you fucked up. Seriously. I think your art is nice. It's some stuff I wouldn't mind seeing with my stories, but truth be told, I wouldn't work with you if you're liable to go off on people in this manner over a fucking foot?!
Check your self before you clog up my boy's blog space homey.

P.S. Don't even bother perusing my blog to comment on my art, I already know I suck. Don't make me break out the barbed water noodle son.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA.

Oh my.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

Actually, you are kidding me. That's SUCH a total line of bullshit. I mean, come ON.

"i am actually a seasoned 10 year veteran of DC comics Inc. and we have been scouting for prospects that have not only talent but a winning personality and you failed all aspects. i have personally worked on more than twenty different comics and scripts and have furthered the careers of some of DC's top artists. i was not supposed to let this be known but you just annoyed me to much."

You seem to be under the impression that the world is in such dire need to find fanboys willing to whore thier art they they need to scour the world for "potentials" by anonymously putting them through the vigors of online idiocy as some sort of secret agent. The comic book industry doesn't work like FIGHT CLUB, buck-o.

Oh, and.. "i dont draw FROM anything, Dick".... maybe you should

Let's clarify one thing.
I Rebecca Woods am a member of Mercury Studio. We are professional comic book artists. Every one of us have worked for DC at some point. My studio mates include Pete Woods (Detective Comics), Karl Kesel (Fantastic Four), Terry Dodson (Marvel Knights Spiderman), Matthew Clark (Adventures of Superman) David Hahn (Private Beach, Bite Club), Paul Guinan (Heartbreakers), Ron Randall (formerly JLA, John Constantine), Drew Johnson (Wonder Woman), Jeff Parker (Interman), Steve Lieber (Whiteout, On the Road To Perdition), I've worked on Robin, Deadpool, and am currently with british small press.
This is not the way that DC gathers new talent. Publishers, and editors look for storytelling, backgrounds, real people, every day events, sequential art, competance, and professional behavior. They will not even look at "Character Bio Sheets" and pin-ups, you will be told to go home to do some actual panel-to-panel work.
When I responded positvely to your "Work" I was under the impression that you were a young teen. If so, with much, work, taking critiques, learning to draw from LIFE, you might have potential. However at this stage, this work is simply unpublishable.
Quite frankly with an attitude like that, I don't forsee a future for you in this industry.
I will add, that your behavior here has already pissed off ten professional comic artists.
We know just about all of the editors at DC Comics. Shockingly, we are not familiar with your work, please provide a list of what you have worked on. Or at least give us your real name.
It's very dangerous to impersonate someone, you should take this as a lesson.
~Rebecca Woods

I had to throw my 2 cents in...

If you cannot take Crits and Comments, don't show your work. You make yourself look bad. If anything these people are helping you, not hurting you. If you can't take it, you should put the pencil away.

You need a thick skin for this work.

Don't listen, fistsofking. They just don't understand you...

Dear FistofKing,

My name is Scoop Rodgers. I am a reporter for the Daily Planet. I am so intrigued by your brilliant artwork. Why, oh, why does DC Comics decide to hide you from the public? CLEARLY by your brilliant attitude towards the heathens who DARE question your toil, DC is sitting on a GOLD MINE!!! Have you spoken to a friend of mine? Perhaps, you being in the media biz as I am have heard of him. His name is Captain Jet Lag. Please respond. I'm sure we can make the magic happen.

Sincerely,
Scoop Rodgers, "The Daily Planet"

Ah, but critique is what this community is here for. If the guy can't take it, then in the future if people don't want to argue with him they can ignore him and talk to somebody else more likely to listen. Or maybe he'll get a better attitude someday.... really unless he decides to start running from post to post insulting people I can't do anything. Or maybe he just won't post anymore pieces for crit.

The Moderator.

This community IS for the critique. People post their work here to see what the general feel for it is. I'm working on a comic myself and joined this community so that when I decide to post my samples I can get as much feedback as possible.

Like other people stated, fistsofking, your work isn't bad at all. You have a good grasp on perspective and figure. None of us are perfect, though, and any criticism you received was constructive. You just decided to get angered.

Then himynameisjamie asked if you had inked work and you went over the edge.

I hope you weren't looking for collaborators. It looks like it would be hard as hell to work with you.
