This community is intended as a fun place for Harry Potter fanartists to post their uncolored linework for others to color and then post for all to see! No deadlines, no pair-ups, just a laid-back place to share the fun of the coloring process.

So what sort of art is acceptable?
First of all, it must be HP themed.
Secondly, art to be colored must be uncolored. It could be linework like that seen in coloring books, or it could be shaded like a photograph –but it must be uncolored!
Thirdly, as long as we all play by the rules (see below) ALL ratings levels are welcome.
I don’t use CG, can I still post?
As long as you can scan or upload a photograph of it, you can post it! All media are encouraged!
Can I post old lineart from art I’ve already colored?
As long as it’s uncolored lineart it’s fine. We’d love to have a go at the classics!
I already colored someone else’s art, can I post it here?
No. All colored art posted to this community must be from uncolored lineart previously posted here. But feel free to encourage the original artist to share the lineart!
So no collaborations then?
Basically. This is just a place to pick up a pic to color and share. It’s only fair that everyone has a chance to color it too.
But who holds the copyright?
It is shared (or one artist could sell or grant the copyright to the other). Both the original artist and the colorist can post the art to their own archive with proper credit. Original artists and colorists are encouraged to sign their work. In the end, always give credit where credit is due –there’s nothing worse than having a pack of raving fanartists on your tail.
What are the Ratings Levels, and who can view them?
The ratings are just like the ones for the movies.
G=General: Nothing offensive, lewd, or graphic –just nice pictures.
PG=Parental Guidance: Might feature romantic couples or situations that aren’t common in all circles –but nothing graphic!
R=Restricted: things are heating up; there might be blood or there might be some hot yet-not-overly-graphic depictions of sex.
NC-17=YOU MUST BE 18 (in U.S.) TO VIEW: No holds barred, it’s all there in graphic detail.
Posting in this community requires the use of templates that include a rating level. If you see a rating that isn’t your cup of tea, don’t click it! As long as postings templates are used properly and people read the post before clicking, this community will remain viewable to all. If problems develop the NC-17 art will become member-locked and I will have to hunt you down and confirm your age. I don’t want to do that, so please follow the rules.

Tagging Guidelines
To ease the organization of submitted art please follow these guidelines for tagging your posts.
- When posting art to be colored add tags labeled "color me", your username, and the name of the character(s) as listed on the main page. For a character that isn't listed, use the existing tag list as a guide. Please do not add extra words to the tag; for example, "silly harry pic!"
Here is an acceptable example, "sherant, harry, draco, color me"
- When posting colored art add tags with your username and the name of the character(s) plus " colored".
Here is an acceptable example, "sherant, harry colored, draco colored "
- When posting mature art ONLY add a tag labeled "nc-17" -DO NOT add your name or the name of the character(s).
This is done so that the risk of inappropriate viewing is minimized and all mature art is under one tag.
