A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

I got tagged by [info]schrijversproef

01. How has LJ changed your life?
As much as I'd like to say 'ow no it hasn't', I do think it has changed my life a bit. I don't think I'm less lonely, but I do smile more often ( when I read nice comments). Reading my friends' page gives me something to do, and very often people inspire me. I started journalling thanks to lj, and when I take pictures, there's someone to show them to. Livejournal is my other home.

02. Do you have a Facebook or MySpace account? Why/not?

I have both, but I don't do anything with it. It's not the same as lj, and I can't seem to find people like me there, feel lost and small in a place like that.

03. Is there any particular song you listen to, to jump-start your day?

Not really, it's always the song I'm obsessed with atm, or some songs I downloaded the evening before. Today, 'Gillian' (Ane Brun) woke me up.

04. Are you happy with your career? And if you don't have one or are not happy, what is your dream job?
I have no career yet. I'll probably end up being a teacher. I love the idea of teaching and having my own class and stuff. The only problem is... I'm not really good with kids. Oh well, we'll see, I don't like to think about the future. If life were perfect, I'd have a great voice, and play loads of instruments and I'd be a singer, not too famous, but enough to live from it.
But yeah, who wouldn't want that? ;)

05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Depends on who I'm talking to. Here, I'm quite extrovert maybe. And with some people in my life, I can't seem to shut up and I say everything I think. Mostly, I'm introvert I think. At school people often think I'm 'sad' cause I'm so quiet and closed in.

06. Do you believe in fate/destiny? Soul mates?

Bleurgh. Um, let me see. Nah, I don't think I believe in that. Maybe in some rare cases, but not in my life. I don't think there's 'someone waiting for me' or whatever. If I had a soul mate, it would be my best friend, or my cat :)

07. Do you trust easily?
Um, no. But I have my reasons. People lie a lot. If anyone's interested Post in Dutch about my feelings about this ( niet lezen als je niet tegen gezeur kan) ( wow dit posten is wel een extreem extroverte daad van mij)

08. The last song you listened to?

"Changing of the seasons" (Ane Brun). I'm in looooooove with her voice.

09. What never fails to make you smile?

When people say nice things and I know they're honest. Swinging with good music.

10. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy?
I don't think I ever dress fancy :p

11. Is being tagged fun?

Yup :)

12. Where do you see yourself five years from now?

As I said before, I don't like thinking about the future. I don't see myself anywhere in five years from now. We'll see where I end up being, let's just hope that I'll end up happy.

13. Does it annoy you when you keep seeing the same questions in surveys?
Not really, it does annoy me maybe when people have predictable answers.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?

Very honest. Very different from me. I don't have a lot of friends like her, so it's nice to have someone so different in my friends' page. Her entries are fun to read and she sings pretty :)

15.Would you rather be intelligent but have the weight of the world on your shoulders or ignorant and happy?

Ignorant and happy. I'm pretty selfish and I'd give anything to be happy. To feel free, to be me.

16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
Strange, but I don't really think I want to have kids. I don't think I'd be a good mom. That might change though.

17. What would you like to name your children, if you have any?
That depends where I end up living. I like english names but if I end up in Belgium or the Netherlands, I don't want people pronouncing it wrong.

18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?

Haha, like that'll ever happen. The person who loves me most I guess.

19. What's your worst habit?

Obsessions, talking to myself. And same as Schrijversproef, jealousy.

20. If you could be any age, what age would you wish to be?
First grade, so that would be, 6 maybe? When I was happy, and when I liked going to school.

I tag (forget rule B, if you don't want to, don't do it, okay? ;) ):

Too beautiful not to share
Photographs )

The Night Festival at the National Museum of Singapore was fun! I wished we weren't slight late because the place was packed, and we missed a small part of the show! The ship that was floating in the air was so pretty, but I couldn't find my camera in time. The first few photographs aren't clear because I only figured out the configurations of my camera after trying out a few modes. It was fun sitting people floating in the sky like "angels" as quoted by a lady who was near me. I thought they looked like ghosts until they started doing ballet moves. After overlooking my crankiness from the heat and crowd, it was really fun even though we were so near the tank that the performer was able to splash us with water! I must really thank the sky for not raining! I knew it was trying to hold on.

I've not been bowling for 8 months, OMG! So today I decided to check my gears after a long long long time. And boy, I was shocked to see my Black Ice split into two! Not really split like a half and a half but here's a picture of it:

At first, it was shocking, then I find it funny, then puzzling, then sad, then funny again. How the hell the ball cracked to that extent? Thank God it was a free ball. It was previously owned by Dexter, he gave it to me when he bought a new ball. I only had to pay for replugging of the finger and thumbhole. Haiz, the Black Ice is old already lah. RIP man.

I starting to really really really miss bowling training and the fun WE had. ): I miss hanging out at Safra Yishun, Safra Mount Faber, Tessensohn CSC, Bukit Batok CSC, had people staring at us for connecting all the bowling bags into one line and made one of us drag it, acting childish by pushing each others' bowling bags, having dinner together, persuading each other to bowl when one does not want to. No matter how bankrupt we were, we'd find a way to bowl. Betting with can drinks. Talk cock/gossip with David. Haha! God. I wonder if the others are missing all these too. ): And I've yet to visit David's pro shop..

And I'm sure it'll be back to square 1.. Haizzz.

No time to think of consequences
Hello.

Alright, so I'm going away tomorrow.
We went summershopping today and I bought a really really really cool skirt. It's white and it looks like a tutu and when I wear it, I feel like a princess or a fairy :P It was in the childrens department and it's for 9-10 year olds.. but it's still the coolest thing I ever bought.. no that's not true.. but it's close :P
And I bought MGMT's "Oracular Spectacular" and I looooove it.

My dad is really cool :D He said I can take his D70 with me on camp :D ( http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/images1/d70.jpg ). I hope I'll make some nice pictures..
And I'll take my guitar. Dorus is coming and he's really good... maybe he can teach me a thing or two :P

Oh and I went to the library in Utrecht.. I love it. It's huge! thousands and thousands and thousands of books.. maybe millions. I walked there like this: :O woaaaaa...

Anyway.. I need to go to sleep.

Bye Bye! Have fun on your own holidays ;)

AUGH YOU GUYS.
I've been hit by yet another writer's block. I think I need to flex my writing muscles or something before I get back to writing "Wick." Sorry to keep whining about it. :(

Give me prompts, plz.

Preferably in fandoms (and maybe ships) I'm comfortable with, lol.

Bad Horse was a real horse, lolz
I've had my usual fantastic fanturday in Paris with [info]fairy_bliss, [info]jedicathy, [info]daiyaa and [info]ephyse.

We started organizing the uk trip we're doing in two weeks (Cardiff/Stratford/Birmingham) and I REALLY can't stand the wait anymore !!

But there's also next weekend when I'll be in London for the Doctor Who Prom concert with ♥Freema♥ and a new tiny episode *eek*

They've released the music listing and OMFG This Is Gallifrey will be played *DIES*
I am so going to embarass myself crying >_<

The complete list )

So we also went to see Wanted with Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy and it's one of the most entertaining film ever ! FOR SERIOUS.
The stunts and FX were really neat and impossibly cracktastic at the same time, the plot ? Laughable as well.
I'm not familiar with the comic so I can't tell if it was faithful but the film really captured the comic book feel and played with it brilliantly.
It was so funny that I was drawn to tears (of laughter) at some point during the last part of the film.
McAvoy and Jolie were HOT LIKE FIRE AND ICE AND RAGE. I'd never thought I'd see him in a film like this but he totally rocked like a rocking thing and never seemed out of place.
Also, unexpected!Nine Inch Nails and unexpected!Marc Warren can only add to the awesome factor.

So I got home and watched the last ep of Dr Horrible, and OF COURSE it had to end like this. Joss, you never ever change.

Then I found out what Derren Brown said about David Tennant in his latest radio interview :

"Find myself a bit embarrassed, sometimes. You know David Tennant came on the show. Such a lovely guy, I guess you've met him. Gorgeous, lovely, open... loveliest guy."

Eh.

...

THIS IS WHY PEOPLE, THIS IS WHY.

And then I saw that [info]versaphile had already written a fic about it *FLAILITY*

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I LOVE THIS FANDOM SO BAD IT HURTS.

My butt hurts
Guess where I am? The Hong Kong airport. Woo hoo.

The flight from SFO was painstakingly long, figuratively and literally. We're talking 12-13 hours in economy class seating. The chairs were quite shitty. Instead of reclining they had this slide in place motion which really just made it even more uncomfortable. I wish I could show a picture but I didn't think about taking one. Maybe on the connecting flight to Bangalore.

So the chairs sucked, but the TV unit was sick, as in cool, as in nice. It was basically a On Demand unit with all these cool movies, such as: Aliens, Charlie Bartlett, 21, and lots of other things. They even had TV shows like The Office, Simpsons, & Scrubs. Hella epic win.

Enough of the Cathy Pacific flight review though.

Other things:

We already have two casualties. Both from nausea-like symptoms. We're leaving them in HK. We will persevere.

By the way, it's like 6am over there, but 9pm over here & my internal clock is all fucked up. In either time zone it would it's dark, so looking outside doesn't help. It's awesome.

The flight for Bangalore doesn't leave for another hour or so, & we won't arrive there until 2am their time, which is 1pm our time. I will most assuredly by in the same mindfucked state I am in now, then.

The group of us (minus 2) are chilling at the boarding gate, and we haven't seen our Professor since boarding the plane in San Francisco, apparently, (& by this I mean everyone but me) is not worried abut this situation. I guess it's all good.

K.

Teen Runs On Stage In Penis Costume At Graduation
A judge has ordered a 19-year-old man to write an apology to his hometown in New York for dressing as a 6-foot penis at a high school graduation.

The judge also ordered Calvin Morett to pay to have the apology published in a local newspaper, pay court fees and perform 24 hours of community service. He has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

Morett donned the giant penis costume and ran onto the stage in the middle of the Saratoga Performing Arts Centre's graduation ceremony, the same school where he graduated from last year.

He then sprayed some of the 5,000 people in the crowd with Silly String. His strange stunt has attracted global notoriety but caused outrage in his hometown.

I've been so busy with my cousin, Adam and Andrew.
It's been a really really really really great week.
But I'm coming home in two days.
YAY :D

yay
Oh, I've just found out that I've won £50 worth of vouchers for any High Street shop in some contest i don't remember entering on a website i visit. Though the answer to the question was tennis related so i guess i must have in boredom. Yay. I was thinking that it was a shame that i couldn't use it in the County club shop, cos it would mean i could actually get our cool new Adidas shirt which i previously couldn't afford, but my brother has said he'll give me the cash for £40 of the vouchers so now i can get my shirt when i'm home next week, yay. :D And i can use the other £10 to get a new Scotland flag since i got my old one signed by Andy and Federer and therefore am not taking it to anymore Scotland games, obviously. ;)

Randomly, our shirts are £35 this year, which isn't bad i don't think. Well, obviously it's a rip off considering it's just a shirt, but most other clubs are £40-£50 aren't they? Getting a proper shirt maker in Adidas would have been the perfect opportunity to put the prices up so fair play and all that.

Meh, i forgot to phone my auntie earlier and it's probably too late now. Must remember to do so on Sunday!

I'm going to see Michael Buble in Glasgow with Steven and Kirsty tomorrow. I actually wasn't looking forward to it at all earlier - i mean, i was looking forward to seeing him, but not Steven being in a mood again. But he seemed ok tonight and anyway, i'll just ignore them and enjoy it myself if i have to, lol! So yay, Michael Buble tomorrow. Better be good since i'm missing our big glamour friendly against Crawley Town for it, hee! ;)

Staying in Stirling tomorrow night since it's impossible to get back here with the ridiculously early last trains, and back on Sunday, so i hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing! ♥

HOLY SMOKES
guess who turned 18 yesterday? That's right, my lovely Jessica. I got her a magnificent birthday present which i will not detail here, because she has not yet recieved it.

Jeebus, next week is going to be so effing crazy...

I'm going to SC1 in Vancouver on tuesday, then the next day me and the buds are leaving to go to ashland for 2 nights, coming back on friday, then I'm leaving with mom to go visit grandma and grandpa. It's gonna be crazy. I'll try to update my twitter while i'm gone.

in other news, i worked in the morning yesterday and then went to pick Kendra up at noonish. we went thrifting and fabric shopping 'cause we're gonna make some awesome skirts. we had originally planned to make them yesterday afternoon, but we ended up shopping for about 5 hours, and didn't get anything done. so, part 2 is coming on saturday. i'll put up pictures of the skirt when it's done. it shall be AMAZING.

tonight, however, is supposedly going to be hang-out with jessica and other cool peeps night, so we'll see if she gets her act together (haaaa).

JESSI: if you decide not to see me you forfeit your present....

Ummmmmm, and.... I love Jensen Ackles.

A Statement Responding to CNN
This will only make sense if you're watching CNN right now but I need to get it out of my system so I can finish reading this article at the AV Club. So, my statement: You can't have it both ways. You can't say that the n-word is some sort of term of endearment when it's said by a black person but is racist when said by a white person. The world just doesn't work that way, especially the world of politics. And granted I'm saying this a white girl, so my statement may not mean anything because of that, I may be incredibly naive, but it's my opinion. You can't have it both ways. Not in politics at least.
:sigh: Now, onto Britney Spears. Yeah that's how my CNN works.

I will kill again
Hai.

I'm going to make a list, because I like making lists..

- I've been working for my mum the last couple of days. I needed to design quite a lot of things. It's fun, but also hard to get everything just right..
- I'm in love with Gossip Girl. Do you watch it? It's.. I don't know. I'm completely in love with Dan. He's as Jessica said, "The perfect boyfriend". And.. I just love him xD I'm normally not really into series, but once I like one, I really like it :P. And I just watched a lot of episodes (erhm.. 3.. but that's long alright, so it feels like a lot.) because I can't watch for a month.. And that's long.
- Reason I can't watch GG for a month: I'm going on a summercamp this sunday. It's called 'buitenkunst theaterweken' and it's basically a bunch of kids on a field acting and having fun a whole week. I've been there last year and it was the happiest week of my whole year, one of the happiest of my life, honestly. I met so many lovely people who are all just like me and all completely unique. A lot of them are going to be there again this year and I'm really really looking forward to it. It's going to be so much fun :D
- Oh I'm not done with my reasons why I can't watch GG! But this reason deserves an own place. And it keeps it more organized (says she. Ms. Never-Organized..). Anyways... I'm coming back on saturday and 2 days later (maybe three, my mum and dad have this thing of just going whenever they're ready and that's most of time not on the day we planned.. but yeah.. that's okay) I'm going to Norway on a holiday with my parents and litlle brother for 3 weeks. I'm also really looking forward to that :D.
- My mum and dad bought me a subscription to OOR. And the best thing about that is that you get a ticket for de Beschaving! I told you about this a while ago, but just to remind you: It's a oneday festival in Utrecht and a lot of cool people are coming (or not.. you never know eh..): Adam Green, Babyshambles and Mystery Jets :D Yaya. There are more people coming, but I don't know them. Eeep. I'm so excited!
- I went 'shopping' with my mum two days ago. And I bought the book Brokeback Mountain for 3,40 euros :D It's used already, but I don't care. Our bookstore has sometimes used books standing outside, and it's always fun to look there because for a book it doesn't really matter if it's used or not. I actually prefer used books over new ones because new ones often stink. Oh I need to remind myself I go to the library tomorrow, because if I don't I have to read 3 books in 4 weeks.. I need more :P Oh and I bought a really cute dress :)
- I need to do something else than sitting in front of my computer. Now. Ooooh I want it to be Sunday already.. *sings* everyday is like sundays..
- I downloaded a band (well, that would be fun :P no, I downloaded their songs..) and they're called 'Gay Against You'. I don't like them.
- I also downloaded songs of Remy Zero. I like them.

That's it. Bye. x

ps. I also need to eat. I'm starving.. Oh my dad bought 'Engelse drop'. And if there is candy that I love love love like mad it's Engelse Drop :P I eat myself sick on it.. Ugh I shouldn't talk about it. I'll eat an apple. healthy healthy.
