Sorry for the ads in the working preview above. LJ took away the option to make new basic accounts. For some tips on getting rid of ads/making them look better, check further down in this post.






Please keep in mind that this layout does not follow my old tutorial in anyway. The instructions for installing this layout are very simple:


1. Go to Journal-->Customize Journal
2. Switch to S2 style if necessary; if you are already on this style, ignore this step.
3. Be sure that your theme is set to Flexible Squares. The color scheme doesn't matter.
4. Click 'customize your theme' in the upper-ish right corner.
5. Go to the 'Custom CSS' page.
6. 'Use layout's style sheet(s)' ---> NO
7. Paste the codes into the white box, save your changes.



Tips for Plus Accounts and Ads

1. First things first--customize the color of your ads. You have to go to the colors page and do this yourself. Example!

The color you should use for this layout is #000000.

2. For Firefox users:
- Download the Greasemonkey extension. Then...
- Download the LJ Ads Butler script.
Now all you should have left in place of the ads are empty boxes!


This layout works with all account types. However, the custom comments page will only work with a paid or plus account.

Not at the moment, sorry--I'm a bit bogged down with school and the like, and I already distract myself enough as it is when I randomly get inspired to make these things. XD; I was thinking about maybe making a request post sometime this summer--June or July or sometime. :)

Ah, good luck then. It's sort of fun to poke at it and try to figure it out. :D Or, well, at least I thought it was. But then I've been poking at html since I was a dorky fourth grader making some stupid Sailor Moon website. 8D;
