This is a community for people who like making colour bars without changing the natural colours of things and who like creative captions.

We don't want too many rules, but there needs to be a few.

* Only natural colours to be used in colour bars.

* Only use a caption if it is appropriate (for example, a quote by a character, a tagline from a film or a line from a song)
**Please note that "is love" is not an appropriate caption on most bars**

As of 27th June 06, we will expect no bars that break either of these first two rules. If a post contains a mix of natural and rule breaking bars then the maker will receive one warning to edit the post before it is deleted. If the entire post is rule breaking then it will be deleted immediately after a comment from a mod with the reasons for this deletion.

* Don’t worry about your skill level, just post

* Please only post 5 bars at one time

* Always post behind an LJ cut

* If you take a colour bar to use in your own journal please comment on the post and credit the maker

* When taking bars please upload to your own server.

* We do like creative themes, but if a request or bar is potentially obscene, please ask permission from one of the mods before posting

* In order to make bars easy to find we will add tags to them. Click List of All Bars above to see topics that have been covered.

* You may use fake cuts to your own graphics journal, but the linked posts MUST stay public indefinately or the post here will be deleted.
