For lolis living in dorms: How do you store your stuff?
I'm having a hard time keeping my skirts/dresses/blouses/socks organized in my tiny dorm room and separated from my non-loli clothes. And was wondering: How do you keep your loli clothes/accessories safe and organized? Any tips? My jewelry is especially a mess. It's all over my desk. >_

I don't actually live in a dorm, but for your jewelry (if you have a lot) you can get a jewelry box that has hooks for necklaces and bracelets so they don't just lie around

I think blouses and socks can just be folded and put in a drawer or a big plastic container (like Rubbermaid ones)

or hang them in your closet with lolita on one side, and not-lolita on the other side

I keep my skirts on clip hangers and hang them that way. my blouses are on hangers too, but make sure you have the nice wooden or wider hangers that won't make weird folding marks on the shoulders!

and yesterday at Claire's I saw little wire-mesh things for hanging earrings on. they are pretty cheap, and nifty if you have a lot of pairs of earrings. or the metal hands for keeping all your rings

hope this helps a little!

My dorm room provided me with a wardrobe and not nearly enough drawer space. I use the wardrobe for my Lolita things, and then I try to use the drawers as best I can for the other things. I also ended up buying another tiny (and incredibly cheap) dresser from the local Big Lots so I could store my petticoats and my purses.

I'm in a dorm room too, and my closet is only about a yard wide! Here's what I do:

1. I have a shower rod (like this http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14697713&RN=763) that I put in my closet in front of the pole that's already there. That way I can have twice as much closet space (my closet is pretty deep). I hang up pettis, blouses and skirts (which are short) on the front pole, and dresses on the back. Loli stuff on the right, regular on the left.
In the store they told me that a shower pole wouldn't hold up clothes cause they were too heavy. This is a lie, I think they were trying to sell me something more complicated. I can hang MYSELF from this thing. It's plenty strong enough.

2. I have one of these (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14427996&RN=303 the one in the middle) hanging on the back pole. It's perfect for sock toppers, socks, headdresses, etc. I also put my knit (non-wrinkly) boleros and sweaters there. I also have a canvas shoe-holder on my closet door.

3. I have a jewelry case that holds individual earrings, but honestly it's a pain to always have to put them into the net-thing. If you're as lazy as I am then something more box-like is better.

I hope that helps!

In my dorm I have a closet and a dresser. I keep my lolita stuff in the closet and my regular clothes in the drawers. XD But if you don't have that kind of space, I have a long rubbermaid container that I use when transporting the clothes and it fits nicely under my bed.

I also have a jewelry box with 3 compartments to store my jewelry. I'm sure you can get one of those really cheap like at some kind of chain store or a dollar store.
