I've been watching some of CLAMP's work in the last few weeks, so I figured it's time to do some iconning. All of the Cardcaptor Sakura icons were coloured from manga, and since I usually icon non-anime shows, this has been my first experience working with those. :) The initial result was a bit odd-looking, but hopefully I've improved a little by the end of the batch. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. ♥

Summary: -Songfic- A little twist on how Touya and Yuki met and started having feelings for each other.
Warnings: Pre-slash/slash.
Disclaimers: Don’t own so you can’t sue. Ha. Card Captor Sakura belongs to Clamp & “Cry” belongs to Mandy Moore. I took two verses out because I couldn’t think of anything to put.

Touya hummed lightly to himself as he rode his bike home from his afternoon practice, it was one of the few days he had off so he was enjoying it by riding slowly under the Sakura trees. It was September, they had been in school for almost a month and the blossoms were starting to wilt and fall, but they were none the less beautiful.
The pink in the blossoms was brought out by the gray sky behind and above them, it was quickly getting darker signaling the on coming storm. Touya pedaled a little faster hoping not to get caught in the rain.
He paused at the cross walk, looking each way for cars, not many would be out now. No one wanted to get caught in the rain, also to his right he was safe because that road led into the park. Most people chose to walk to the park. Touya started to raise his foot to push off and finish his ride home when in the corner of his right eye he caught movement and turned his head toward it.
Everything stopped.
A lean figure had stepped out from behind a tree and was now staring up at the sky. He had choppy silver blonde hair and a lean figure, Touya guessed he was about a head and a half taller than this guy. There was only one thought going through his head though, as he stared,
'He's beautiful.'

I'll always remember
It was late afternoon
It lasted forever
And ended so soon (yea)
You were all by yourself
Staring up at a dark gray sky
I was changed

Touya didn’t care about the darkening clouds that promised of rain anymore. He turned his bike wheel to the right and pedaled into the park. Each stroke of the pedals brought him closer to that figure.
Finally he found himself close enough to see the color of the figure’s eyes, which was actually further than you would have thought, maybe it was the way the figure’s glasses were positioned… Touya didn’t know. But those eyes… they were a light golden color, he had never seen eyes such as those.
He was captivated.
Those kind of eyes… they could show all emotions or none, Touya decided then and there that he would rather see the emotions. He was about to call out a greeting to the figure when the other turned and Touya saw the first tear make it’s way down the pale cheek.
He froze. The figure was crying…

It was there that I realized
That forever was in your eyes
The moment I saw you cry (cryyy..)

'Why is he crying?' Touya wondered.
He wanted to jump off his bike, run up and wipe that tear as well as any others that came away.
Everything changed in the moment that Touya saw that first tear.

The moment that I saw you cry

Yukito never really noticed the boy that sat behind him and stared at his back in his classes until almost a month and a half since he had started at this new school. He had seen him before, of course, the guy was a soccer player, how could one not notice someone that popular? He had never been interested in talking to him though because he seemed so cold.
Then there was the day when he was walking home and he saw that boy staring up at the sky, which was turning dark with the coming storm. Yukito felt a tug at his heart… slowly he walked up and tapped the boy on the shoulder. When the boy turned he was captivated by those eyes.
"Hello… I’m Yukito," he said softly. The other boy smiled.
"I’m Touya."

It was late in September
And I've seen you before (and you were)
You were always the cold one
But I was never that sure...
You were all by yourself
Staring up at a dark gray sky
I was changed

Yukito smiled as he sat down beside his friend at lunch, it took a moment before he realized Touya wasn’t returning the smile.
"To-ya?" He questioned. He wasn’t prepared for the moment the first tear slipped from Touya’s eye, or the second, or the third. He only knew that he wanted to stay and watch.

"To-ya…" Yukito whispered placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. He wanted to wrap his arms around him and hold him, make him feel like nothing else mattered. "It will be alright… shhh…"

"Oi To-ya…" Yukito said quietly.
"Hai Yuki?" He questioned looking up from his book.
"May I know you?" Yukito whispered a dark blush covering his cheeks. Touya smiled as he stood and came to kneel down in front of Yukito.
"Only if I can know you," he replied. He brushed his thumb gently against Yukito’s eye as the tears gathered.

A/N: I wrote this in about an hour while watched V for Vendetta, don’t ask where the idea came from cause I have no clue.

When the attack came, I was there. I saw the looks in their eyes. I knew none of them could defend against that attack. All I could do was scream their names and wish I had a way to protect them.

The light from the attack faded and I could only watch in horror as Yue’s wings fell back limply, his eyes closing, a soft smile on his lips. I could see the tears and anger in Sakura’s eyes as she went to her knees with him. She held him up, calling his name, begging him to hold on. I ran to them, knowing I could do nothing.

Yue stared up into Sakura’s eyes, his own sliver ones half closed. Her tears fell onto his face. He raised a shaking hand and wiped her tears away, before his hand fell back down.

"Have I… been a… good… guardian… Mistress Sakura…" He questioned softly.

"You were the best Yue! The best! But you were an even better friend!" She assured him.

Sakura had grown so much since she had first opened the Clow book; it had been ten years since then and she was just so much more.

"Sakura…" I whispered. Normally I would have called her "monster" but this situation was too serious, she knew it as she looked up at me.

"Take care of him Touya, I will finish this." With that she laid Yue back on the ground, his eyes closed, and she got to her feet. I nodded kneeling down and picking him back up so he would know at least one of us was there. I watched her walk away a few steps and call out to her enemy.

"To-ya…" I looked down at him as he softly said the name Yuki had given me almost as soon as we had introduced ourselves to each other. I was still looking into Yue’s silver eyes but I was hearing Yuki’s sweet voice.

"Yuki…" I whispered. He smiled.

"Yue says… we won’t… make it… through this… one…"

"Don’t say that Yuki! Everything will be fine, you just wait and see!" I assured him, my words were lies though, I knew it and so did he. Tears started to gather in my eyes.

"I just…wanted to…tell you… I love… you To-ya… always…" His eyes closed then and I bowed my head whispering his name over and over.

That was only the first pain of that night, as I also lost Sakura as she used all her magic to defeat that enemy, but the loss of Yuki… my Yuki… was more painful.

I know I was not the only one to hurt that night. Keroberos mourned the loss of his mistress; father mourned the loss of his little girl, Li the loss of his wife and Mieko the loss of her mother.

I had had them buried side by side, the only rightful place for a master and their guardian. Sakura had always called them friends and I’m sure in the end Yue believed it as well but he would always be her guardian, just like how Yuki would always be my love, my snow bunny.

"Are you always so sure of your actions?" The deep voice asked from my side. I looked down at Keroberos’s true form, my hand reached out and scratched him behind the ears, and he leaned into my touch slightly. We were alone in the graveyard so he was allowed to be out in his true form. Unlike Yue, who was a reflection, Kero was the sun and could exist without a master. I ignored his question for the moment, because I had one of my own.

"How did Yue survive after Clow Reed’s death?"

Keroberos hummed slightly as he thought back.

"Clow told us the night before he was to die what would happen, Yue was very upset, understandably. He refused to serve another master saying none would be worthy in his eyes. That was when Clow made him the Judge, and I the chooser of the next master. Just after he put us both to sleep, I within the book and Yue in a suspended state until the book was found. When your father found the book Yue took on the form of your friend Yukito," he explained.

I nodded understanding.

"The magic I gave him sustained him until Sakura was powerful enough to support him, but when she died without another person to take place as his Master or putting him into a suspended sleep, he died with her?" I had to make sure I understood so there would be no hard feelings.

"Yes," Keroberos answered simply. I smiled with a nod and turned away, I knew he was following and then there was a flash of light and I felt the slightly weight on my shoulder.

"Oh, and Kero, in answer to your question, always."

WOW this is so cool. So yeah when cardcaptors came out I think I was in the 9th grade and absolutely fell in love with Yue. Yes, he was my first bishi and absolutely love him still and well I've decided to join. I did a drawing of Yue and if someone can teach me how to do a ljcut I'll be glad to post it here. Hi! I made a Yue icon, which isn't that great. Hahah.. =p Not to brag or anything, I just wanna share it with you. Although I don't know how the LJ-Cuts go, so I'll just post it here.

It isn't great right? Well, it's my first CCS icon ever made and heck. The text might not make sense, so let me clarify it. Yue says that "Isn't this supposed to be Yukito's costume" since Yukito means 'snow bunny' and Yue's wearing a bunny costume.

Heheh ^^ That's it. Sorry for bein' pathetic. :D

It's nice being on the moon. ^^

Hi. I am a Yue fangirl and I write fanfic. You can find me on fanfiction.net ,but I also occasionally post LJ only ficlets on my LJ or (more rarely) at Tsukimine Shrine. I exist to put more Yue into the world, because there is just not enough. If you can recommend some good eye candy beyond the usual anime and manga pix, I would be interested.

Clow/Yue is my OTP. Although I love Touya/Yukito, I have issues with Touya/Yue-Yukito because I don't think that Yue and Yukito are the same person... I just don't. I also don't think that integration is inevitable. I kind of like the whole 2-personalities-in-one-body-mess.

Agree? Disagree? Just thought I'd try to provoke some activity in this community. Will dedicate fanfic to any fellow C/Y 'shippers.
