GOODBYE MIGHTY....
This is a sad day for the City of Heroes/Villains Community. One of its finest member’s Mighty, Leader of The Echelon and one of the nicest people we have ever known in this game passed away last Friday due to a blood aneurism.
We extend our condolences to his family and our thoughts go to them through these hard moments.
Mighty was one of finest people in City of Heroes, always pushing the Community forward and doing his best to help people and contributed as much as possible.
Goodbye Mighty was pleasure knowing you and having met you...

I have been posting pics o my toons on my blog and thought it would be amusing to do the same here, just to share aahhhhhh LOL
BUT before I start I thought I would slap on some links to some resources any CoX player should find useful.

This site also has downloadable stuff. Of most use is the in-game map that overlays info while you play :) It shows you were badges are, the type o bad guys you can find in each bit of each zone AAANNNNDDDD never get lost in Perez Park again for it will show you the routes beneath the trees :) There are also links here to in game badges and where they are, assuming you know the in-game /loc command! Another map at http://paragonmaps.com/ actually shows visually where lots of badges are BUT It is not a complete map and has some badges missing, Vidiot is kept more up to date

On this page there is a Hero Planner (Mids Hero Planner) Why not post the link to the planner? Because on this link there is also an Excel sheet you can download which can help heaps if you find the Invention Sets all a bit mind boggling. The Hero Planner DOES have IO info but the excel sheet can support this if the planner looks all complicated n stuff. Redtomax also has LOADS of CoX related info, far too much to go into here!
Heres a couple o links that can be useful to make sure you get the contacts you need. While they are old and have not been updated that much they still provide a good backbone for basic CoH info (NB NOT CoV) so if you wondered why you never get Tina McIntyre or Maria Jenkins so you can get the Portal Jockey Accolade...wonder no more!

Hi all,
I've only just noticed this community so I thought I would drop by.
My main toon is Kendra Hawk an Inv/Mace Tanker on Union.
However I have recently been feeding my altitis by creating my own SG on Defiant for hero toons I wanted to try out.

Well, it took me a surprisingly long time to find this place, but I thought I'd drop by and say hello. ^_^ I've recently renewed by CoH account, and have been having fun staying up late to level up. Man- I;ve missed online gaming!
I think a few of you might have run in to me- my 2 toons are Guide and Pink Champaign. ^_- I play on Definace.

I've recently reinstalled and renewed my CoH&CoV account, which I am very excited about. However, i've no longer got my lvl 42 Blaster (Moonchild, if anyone ever met me aaages ago), so no cape and no aura *sniff*...and seeing as there's a nice community, would there be anyone interested in a bit of gaming, bit of teaming etc? It's no fun solo or with strangers :p I'll be on the Defiant Server, I think
Hope everyone here is well, and I look forward to at least becoming semi-active here :D

Hi i've been playing CoX for about 2 months.
I have a number of Chars.
My main is Dirty Goffic a lvl.26 Claws/Regen
I also have several different alts.
Clasified a lvl.10 Blaster
Medic Bot a lvl.6 Defender
There are others but these are the ones i'm concentrating on at the moment.
I play almost exclusivly on Union (all these chars are on it).
So anyway I have been looking for some folks to go badge hunting with. Particularly with DG as I outlevelled a couple of missions. Any ideas?

So the NCSofters are getting around and about all over the place for a while.
The EU guys are at Bristol tomorrow and Sunday and as Im off to see 'em (mainly cause my uncle needs to close a few deals with a few of the companys there heh) figured I'd shout out to see if anyone else is going! I'll be there just for the Saturday but it would be awesome too meet up with some of the community if anyones gonna be there!

I know it's probably a little sad, but i enjoy the City Of Heroes comics, they are cheesy and fun. Anyway, my local Forbidden Planet hasn't had any comics since January, Issue 17. I just wondered if anyone else had? I do have it on order there, but they are pretty useless at times.
So has anyone had any issues since then? At the end of issue 17 it does say there is another issue coming, it stated the title, but i can't remember right now, so i hope it hasn't been discontinued.

Hi i have just found this community and thought i would say hi. I have been playing on the Union server for 2 years now, and have some how never made it to level 50 lol.
Anyway my global is @Lil Bob and i have the following toons:
Lil Bob - lvl 43 electric/energy blaster
Cassidy - Lvl 31 empath defender
Princess Lamnia - Lvl 20 katana/regen scrapper
Chai - lvl 12 mind control/storm summoning controller
Merletto Nero - Dark/Thermal Corruptor
Brighid - Fire/Fire Dominator.
You can usually find me online mainly on the heroes side weekday afternoons, and very occasionally in the evening and weekends. Be sure to say hi if you see me.

Interesting... I've not played for 6 months, just restarted my account, and immediately ran into a Safeguard mission - and am now having great fun flying around with a jetpack on!

Hi there. Just started playing CoH and CoV, and I figured this is the community where I should be, although I'm in New Zealand, not the UK. :)
Just here to have fun at the moment (and it shows, my first hero is Dredrick Tatum), but I'm looking forward to meeting people and teaming up and such. Looks like an awesome game so far.
Just one thing... I created Dredrick before I installed CoV, and now some of the options are different... well, the masks, at least, I noticed they're different. And less than heroic, too. Used to have options like facepaint-looking masks, and full masks like Captain America, and now they're the skull, the creepy grin, and so on. Is it supposed to be like that, or am I doing something wrong?
