I don't think anyone's posted about this here.

Godiva chocolate now has a bottled beverage out! I got a dark chocolate mocha drink a few days ago & I drank it this morning. It's very potent. I used it as creamer for my coffee. Very delicious!
It was in the single bottle case near the Starbucks at my local grocery store.

I also tried a Ben & Jerry's bottled beverage. I didn't like it. It had too much carageenan in it. I think they were trying to make it taste like an ice cream smoothie, hence the thick viscosity. It was their banana ice cream flavor. I had to throw out the rest of the bottle after trying to drink it. It was really disappointing.
(I don't know if it was caffeinated...)

I normally don't watch the Food Network in the evenings, but for some reason I had it on today and there was a show devoted to CHOCOLATE! The show was called "Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee" and she made the following:

Mixed Fruit and Spring Greens with White Chocolate-Orange Vinaigrette
Cherry Almond Rice Mexicana (made with semisweet chocolate)
Grilled New York Strip with Chocolate Merlot Sauce
Chocolate Almond Fondue
White Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini

It made me sooo hungry! I'm definitely going to try at least a few of these!

Now, I'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate made from those little packets that aren't ever chocolatey enough, but I gotta admit...

At Starbucks, there's a wonderful drink that combines both espresso and chocolate--I'm sure you all know it as the Cafe Mocha.

Lately though, I've been having them add a pump of almond and a pump of toffee nut into the mocha, and it really brings out the chocolate taste, and adds a nutty flavor. I am completely addicted.

i had white chocolate dream from coffee bean & tea leaf today. It simply rocked my socks. It was delightfully sweet enough and furthermore with an addition of chocolate sauce, it is scrumptiously heavenly!

yum yum. i am getting addicted to coffee, not just plain coffee but coffee in all forms except those cinnamon flavoured.

coffee is the best creation next or even equal to chocolate!

it is always a treat for me whenever i visit coffeehouses, just one of the best ways to pamper myself. :D

well i sure am. what did i do the second i got home? eat like four chocolate brownies in three minutes!! yeah i indulge, so what? anyways this past winter i came across a delicious and decadent treat and i will share the recipe with you here!

Just a thought, has anybody ever tried the Caramel Turtle at Nancy's coffee shops?

It's a combination of coffee and hot chocolate, with chocolate fudge and caramel mixed in, topped by whipped cream. It's absolutely amazing, and I'm just wondering if anybody else has tried it. I'm not even sure if Nancy's has locations outside the Buffalo-Niagara area, so I'm curious about that too.
