Awesome Hair Day

Yes my crest is awesome,
Glowing brightly in the sun.
A tuft like this I'm proud of!
I'll bet you want one too.

I am a handsome Sunshine
Strong and fit and lean.
I like to sing and fly and play
My wings I love to preen.

Couscous and Sunshine sitting together in the morning sun.

Thanks! That's Moosie (a white-faced cinnamon pearl). He does tend to stand out... :-)

What sweet lil beebs! CC is so pretty. ^_^ Sunshine looks very happy- it looks like he is wearing an ascot like Pie Mei does!

You have two boys and two girls, right? Are your girls .... clumsy? Couscous is the clumsiest thing. She is always tripping. LOL My daughter said "If she ever has babies I hope she doesn't trip over them." haha And she flies heavy and very noisily (and dare I say clumsily?), whereas Sunshine's flight is smooth like a breeze. She lands with a thud too. haha

Well, Boo had foot surgery from when she was attacked by a rat when she was with her last owner but when she grew her wings out she became very graceful. Kyuperl is a total clumsy henny because the pet store severely clipped her and she's still trying to grow some feathers in. The boys are very smooth, for the most part, but they screw up complicated acrobatics. Pie Mei's a good flyer and can get where he wants and does the hovering and sharp turns well. Doodle hasn't had a chance to have all of his wingalings ever and he had several primaries pulled over Thanksgiving because of a blood feather fiasco, so he'll shape up too. I hope the clumsiness is more of a wing thing than a hen thing. ^^

How sweet!

I'm sure Blue would love to play in the sun with them.

What stunning pictures! Thankyou so much for sharing.

I was given two cockatiels a year ago to remind me of home and they are superb company! I love them to bits. That first one could be a twin brother of my little Bruce pictured here.

Aw! Bruce is handsome. :-) I agree, they're great company. We adopted Sunshine through the humane society (someone contacted me about him.) We were a little worried at first that we wouldn't all get along, but he's become quite spoiled along with Couscous and I hope he loves us too. :-)

Beautiful crest! ^O^ Eriza's is looking a bit scraggly right now as she's losing and gaining feathers (due to the change in temperature here, I'd assume). So she'll raise it up and there'll be maybe three or four long feathers going every which way. Then I snicker at her, then she tries to steal my earring *laughs*
