He said what now?
What is your birds conversation like?
What have you taught him?
What does he say?
Has he said something he shouldnt?

Zest is 'learning'
*wolf whistle* (which he can almost do)
*The Charge! tune*
"Whatcha Doing?"
"Uh oh-spaghetti-oes"

I think he'll probly pick up
"Stop it you little sh*ithead!" (cause thats what I say when he's chewing earings, piercings, sequins, beads etc"
"Zeeeeeke - Shut up!"

That is all :)

My birds don't speak any English. I, however, have learnt passable Cockatiel dialect:

"Cher-wee!"

"Squeep!"

"Oo-wee-oo!"

And the wolf whistle. I'm a pretty good mimic. *g*

Sadie's picked up the wolf whistle, "come here whistle"...and says..."Whatcha doin?", "Gimme a kiss", "Come here"....a few times she's said Hello too. And the other day she said "Come here Peanut" to one of our dogs. lol. That's about all :)

Both of my males have their own little song that they go into, the wolf whistle, and Snapple does a horrid rendition of "Shave and a Haircut," a whistle like you'd use to call a dog (fwee-oooo-fweee! sort of...) and an imitation of me imitating parakeet noises.

not all my birdies can talk... but I love them just the same. Wuzo my female cockatiel is currently sitting on a clutch of eggs.

Tango says:
"hello"
"pretty pretty birdie"
"pretty pretty tango"
"pretty pretty boy"
he whistles the andy griffith theme song
whistles when the saints come marching in
wolf whistles

and I'm trying to teach him to say "I love you"

Kiwi says:
hello
polly wanna cracker?
MOM!!!
Robyn!!
good morning (he says this every morning when his cage is uncovered)
I love you
pretty birdie
bonjour (his previous owners we think were french)
yes, ok, yes, ok (he says this while we're TRYING to talk on the phone)
hang the phone up
move the car
night night
he whistles the andy griffith theme song

Now Tiki...he loves christmas music and my voice...so when either is going/singing he starts to dance..and it's absolutly hilarious. I found myself standing in front of his cage today dancing around to Christmas music and singing along and watching him dance as well...he looked so happy!!
He also now immitates my laugh

My tiels don't speak at all, but the budgie has adapted to speak tiel and mutter "sh*t!" and "Budgie" (sometimes "Budgie Budgie"). He grumbles at times, and we believe this is his mimicry of conversation and TV background noise.

My first budgie could say "Whatcha doin', budgie?", "budgie", and probably a muttering of "sh*t".

You can see what I say often in the house. ;D

Chacha says:
"Hello Birdie"
"I like you"
"You're beautiful"
can wolf whistle and do the "ner ner ner ner ner" tune, he also does a mean telephone immitation.
He also says something I can't understand
He was taught all these by his past owner I have nothing to do with it.
