Who's buying a Christmas present for their 'tiel/s?
If so... what is it? I don't know what to get Zest!!

AND... Does anone else think its morbid that Zest is knawing away at a chicken bone on my desk? A bit cannabilistic (sp?) eh?

Hehehe.

We eat other mammals, don`t we?
Why shouldn`t parrots eat bird?

Birds always appreciate toys and tasty food. But if Zest already has everything a bird could desire... (is that possible?) you could donate to other birds in need in his name.

I suppose mine got a pet quail. *L* Piper finds him fascinating.
He`s going to learn to crow like the quail... I just know it... *Sighs*

I bought the girls some presents. They actually arrived yesterday:
2 new branch perches
6 vitamin seed sticks (they <3 those things)
2 new fruit-flavored cuttlebones
A new birdie pacifier for S&S (they destroyed the old one)
Pellets (that's not a gift... that's essential lol)
And a partridge in a pear tree brand new cockatiel bird bath (which doesn't fit in their cage opening... Bah)

Oh, and be careful when letting Zest gnaw on the thinner chicken bones (if he breaks them, that is). Cooked chicken bones tend to splinter when broken.

They're getting new toys I made for them with materials bought online, some millet, maybe some new food dishes, and a new play area (made out of branches and cotton rope ^^)

The Foster Parrots are getting newspaper, pistachios, cotton blankets, bird treats, and the humans will be getting some coffee or something equally exciting.

My CAG got his cousin (my sister's normal gray male tiel) Jack, some toys and his favorite treat sticks.

Murphy also made a donation to Foster Parrots. (But I helped a little.)

Well, much to my own surprise my boys are getting a real Christmas gift. A shiny new cage with stand! It`s HUGE, sturdily built... a real nice looking thing. And only $50! (Plus a $10 delivery charge).
