Helloooo!
Hi everyone! My name is Meagan and my Aunt and I bought two birds. They are both a little over 4 months old now. We have had them since they were 9 weeks old. Their names are Gordi and Quark. First, we got Gordi but after a week we realized he needed a buddy so we bought Quark. They are just now starting to really get along, playing together, grooming each other etc. They are from the same hand-fed group so they only were apart for about a week anyway. Enjoy the pictures! :)

how old is gordi? i think gordi might be a girl if he/she is older than a year.

We were wondering the same thing. The breeder said at the time, she was pretty sure it was a male. They are both a little over 4 months old. When will we be able to know for sure or not?

he should be having his first molt by 6-8 months of age, usualy some or most of the dots will dissapear if its a boy. if its a girl the dots will all stay.
i had the same situation with my cockatil sunnie, didnt find out she was a girl till she layed eggs at age one and a half.

Thanks so much! We think they might be starting their molting a bit. Gordi has already lost one tale feather. How long have you had your birds? They recently have been coming up with new sounds to make. It's been interesting lol

awesome birds! Zoe is a love bird right? my best friend has one. Her name is Tikki (Tea-key). She's loud! and has a lot of energy. What has your experience been like with Zoe? She's thinking about getting another love bird now that she is working more. We think she needs a buddy.

great pictures!

ouch, and I thought my ears hurt when I heard tikki go off. I would hate to imagine what would happen to my eardrums if Zoe were to scream. hehe.

:0)
